WHAT A READING UNIT LOOKS LIKE
Six steps, woven around the biblical text itself. You get the historical setting before you read a verse, the scholarly analysis before you read it again, and notes you can keep from each pass.

2. Skim the Passage — your first read of the biblical text, broken into short sections so you never face a wall of verses at once.

4. Things to Notice — specific observations and patterns to watch for when you return to the text.
