Strandwetter is weather that actually makes sense for beach days. You don’t want 20 charts—you want a simple answer: Is the beach worth it today, or is café/museum the better plan? Strandwetter translates beach-relevant weather into a clear overview and a Beach Score (1–10) you can trust for quick decisions. What you get Beach Score (1–10): A simple overall rating based on temperature, wind, rain, clouds and UV. Wind + direction: Not just “how much”, but “from where”—useful on the beach and for water sports. Water temperature: Live marine value when available; otherwise an estimate—always clearly labeled. Beach selection: Pick manually, or (optionally) use location to suggest the nearest beach. Badges (optional): Little holiday stickers you can confirm yourself—no locks, no “proof required”. Offline-friendly: Settings and short-term data cache are stored locally for smoother use with weak reception. Privacy No accounts. No tracking. No analytics or ad SDKs. Location access is optional and only used to suggest the nearest beach.
