SpeedTube lets you change YouTube video playback speed with one click on the toolbar. Just click and watch at the pace you prefer. No menus, no sliders, no hassle.
ONE-CLICK SPEED CYCLING
Click the SpeedTube icon in your toolbar to jump to the next speed in your cycle. Each click advances one step. After the last speed, it loops back to normal playback (OFF). The entire interaction takes less than a second, so you never lose focus on the YouTube video you are watching.
CUSTOMIZABLE SPEED PRESETS
Pick from 15 speed options between 0.25x and 5x. Build any combination that fits your workflow. Slow things down to 0.5x for complex material, or jump to 3x for content you already know. The default cycle is OFF, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, OFF, but you can change it however you like.
PERSISTENT SPEED
Your speed setting sticks as you browse YouTube. Navigate between videos, open a new page, or close and reopen your browser. SpeedTube remembers your last speed and applies it automatically. No need to re-select every time you start a new video.
TOOLBAR BADGE
A small badge on the toolbar icon shows your current speed at all times. You always know exactly what rate the video is playing at without opening any settings or hovering over controls.
SETTINGS PAGE
The settings page features a visual grid of speed chips. Tap to add or remove speeds from your cycle. A live preview at the bottom shows your complete speed sequence before you save. Dark mode is fully supported and matches your system appearance.
