Is it your Wi-Fi or your ISP? Guardian finds where the problem is, with a 1-week free trial. New in 3.4: share results as an image, and traceroute in plain words.
Is it your Wi-Fi, or is it your ISP?
PingKit answers the question you actually have. It checks your device, your network, your router and the internet beyond it, then tells you in plain language where the problem is. Ask "Why is my internet slow?" and get a real answer instead of a number.
Devices on your network are found automatically and named from what they announce. No jargon, no guesswork.
19 professional-grade network tools, completely free.
AI THAT EXPLAINS YOUR NETWORK:
Answers are written on your iPhone by Apple Intelligence, or by Apple Private Cloud Compute, wherever your iPhone and your language allow. PingKit's own service is the last resort, and PingKit asks your permission before it ever receives anything. Every AI feature is free without a subscription: answers written on your iPhone are unlimited, and PingKit's own service gives you 15 a week, up to 5 a day.
NEW IN 3.3:
• MAC addresses and manufacturers for most devices on your network, on iOS 27.
• More devices get a name: PingKit asks each device for the name it announces, so smart plugs, bulbs, TVs and consoles that never showed a name do.
• Labels stay with the device: a device keeps its name and label when its address changes.
• Thread and Matter devices appear, and scans are faster and quieter.
SIRI & SHORTCUTS:
Speed test, "How's My Wi-Fi?", a gaming check, wake your computer, ping, port scan and DNS lookup, straight from Siri, Spotlight and Shortcuts.
19 FREE TOOLS:
Smart Diagnostics, Speed Test, Ping, Visual Traceroute, MTR, Connection Monitor, Port Scanner, Bonjour Browser, Security Scan, Device Discovery, My Network, DNS Lookup, Whois, IP Geolocation, SSL Inspector, HTTP Analyzer, Subnet Calculator, Wake-on-LAN, Network Interfaces.
MONITOR TAB:
Live connection, Uptime Watch, Cert Monitor, Mac Agent, scheduled speed tests and reports in one place. Cert Monitor and Uptime Watch each include one permanently free slot.

Results you can share as an image, a traceroute explained in plain words, networks told apart, and IPv6 across the tools.
- Traceroute, Session Watch and Security Scan results have Share as Image: a card with the PingKit name that leaves out your Wi-Fi name, public IP address and the device names you typed.
- When a ping finishes, Watch this host opens Uptime Watch with the host filled in.
- Under the hop list, Traceroute explains the route in plain words: what your router's time says, where the largest jump in time comes and the total. Ping and Traceroute have a Game services menu of hosts to try.
- Session Watch says what it measured, offers to trace the route to your game, and has a Middle East (UAE) region.
- After a device scan, History tells apart two networks that share a router address by the devices on each, and you can rename a network. An optional switch also uses the Wi-Fi name.
- Devices recognizes many more kinds of device, including robot vacuums, thermostats, appliances, EV chargers and solar inverters. It reads the maker, the name the device gives itself and what it announces over HomeKit, Matter and UPnP, and shows IoT rather than a guess when the only clue is a chip found in many products.
- IPv6: Ping can use IPv4 or IPv6, Network Info lists every IPv6 address, My Network shows your public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, and HTTP Analyzer, SSL Inspector and IP Geolocation take IPv6 addresses.
- The Mac Agent's Timeline loads older events as you scroll, back through the 90 days your Mac keeps with Guardian.
- Ping and Security Scan results fit the largest text sizes, Ping's Min, Avg and Max read "No reply" when nothing answers, and the widget gallery shows each widget as it looks on your Home Screen and Lock Screen.
- AI explanations answer in your language, and a slow answer hands the question on to the next AI rather than keeping you waiting.
- Plus many smaller fixes and improvements.
