Smarter first-run setup — Redesigned taste onboarding: welcome screen, clearer steps for genres and artists, gesture tips, and a smoother path to your personalized feed. More reliable playback — Previews resume more reliably when you return to the app, with better sync between what’s on screen and what’s playing. Smoother feed — Tighter visuals when moving between tracks so the feed feels less jumpy. Stronger discovery controls — “Less from this artist,” genre, and related actions update your queue and recommendations more directly; hide and negative signals are reflected in what you hear next. Fewer repeats — Longer memory of what you’ve already heard so the same songs are less likely to come back too soon. Scrub preview audio — Drag the progress bar to move within the 30-second preview. Faster loading in Library — Liked and saved lists resolve track info in parallel so long lists load quicker. Faster next song — Upcoming previews can be prepared in advance for snappier playback when you swipe. Liked songs → Apple Music — Add songs from your Liked list to your TuneScroll playlist in Apple Music (same idea as saved tracks). Better guest → Apple ID handoff — Signing in after using the app as a guest carries over more of your local history (including taste, recent plays, and genre preferences where applicable). Cloud sync for taste details — Taste profile can store more of your preferences in iCloud for signed-in users.
