ClaUse Bar lives in your macOS menu bar and shows your Claude usage at a glance, so you never hit a limit by surprise. If you use Claude Pro, Team, or Enterprise, you know the frustration: you're deep in a conversation and suddenly hit your usage cap. ClaUse Bar solves this by showing your session (5-hour) and weekly (7-day) usage percentages right in the menu bar, updated automatically. HOW IT WORKS • Sign in with your existing claude.ai account (no API keys or developer setup required. • Your current usage appears in the menu bar as two compact percentages (5h and 7d) • Click the icon to see detailed usage with animated progress bars and reset countdowns • Get notified before you hit your limits with customizable threshold alerts FEATURES Live Menu Bar Display: See both your 5-hour session and 7-day weekly usage percentages directly in the menu bar. Values update automatically at your chosen interval. Color-Coded Thresholds: Usage changes color as it increases, from default to orange to red. You choose the exact percentages for each threshold, separately for session and weekly usage. Smart Notifications: Receive macOS notifications when your usage crosses a threshold. Built-in cooldown prevents notification spam. Reset Countdowns: Know exactly when your usage window resets. The app shows a live countdown ("Resets in 2h 15min"), so you can plan your work accordingly. Customizable Refresh: Choose how often the app checks your usage: every 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, or 5 minutes. Launch at Login: Enable the toggle and the app starts automatically when you log in to your Mac, always ready in the menu bar. Multi-Organization Support: If you belong to multiple Claude organizations, choose which one to monitor during sign-in. PRIVACY & SECURITY Claude Usage Bar takes your privacy seriously: • Connects directly to claude.ai. No intermediary servers, no third-party services • Your session is stored in the macOS Keychain, the same secure storage your Mac uses for passwords • No data is collected, tracked, or sent anywhere other than claude.ai • No API keys or developer credentials required. Uses your existing claude.ai session • Built entirely with Apple frameworks. No external dependencies REQUIREMENTS • An active Claude Pro, Team, or Enterprise account
