more I like the game play so far unfortunately I can’t promote any of my people. Says I need to level up 10 times with 0/10. I have leveled up my guys several times from 18 to 31, 12 to 28 and so on.
Developer Response Thanks so much for taking the time to write this, and you were absolutely right. We tracked down the bug: when we added hero promotions in a recent update, the game started counting levels gained from that point on, and it wasn't crediting all the leveling you'd already done. That's why a hero you'd taken from 18 to 31 was still showing 0/10.We've now pushed a server-side fix, so there's nothing for you to download. Just reopen the app and your progress will sync. Your heroes should be promotable again based on the leveling you've put in.One bit of honesty: the game didn't record exactly what level each hero was when you first recruited them, so we couldn't recover those numbers precisely. Instead we estimated each hero's starting level from their stats and reconstructed how many levels they'd gained, and wherever there was any doubt, we rounded in your favor. Thanks again for the detailed report, it genuinely helped us find and fix this. We hope you enjoy promoting your guild!

Really loving this game so far. I like the gameplay loop and look forward to it. A couple of suggestions. 1) give me the option to sort equipment by class so I can easily upgrade my people. 2) I’d love a “log” of actions so I can look back at what I did recently in case I misclick an adventurer or something, 3) the tavern timer is off. When the day ticks over into midnight the whole amount appears at midnight rather than over 8 hours. Also I would personally prefer a “bank cap” rather than a daily cap. Daily just feels limiting and then I don’t have to check in again with it for 24 hours, 4) simplify the upkeep system or at least give it to me on one screen. Right now I have to go to 3 screens and calculate different upkeeps. If I could see it all on the guild Home Screen that would be great, 5) I’d love to see more achievements, maybe as tiers to work through. I’m only 5 days into the game and already worried about running out of achievements. These are just a couple thoughts to improve the game over time. I really am loving it so far!
Developer Response Thank you. We're really glad the loop is landing for you, and this is exactly the kind of feedback that shapes what we build next. Sorting equipment, an activity log, upkeep in one place, and deeper achievements are all on our list now. We're also looking into the tavern timer and will make any changes needed there. If you have any other feedback or questions, email us anytime at games@w3applications.com. We read everything. Thanks for playing!

It’s a neat little game with a good repeat of things to manage. As long as it keeps being updated I think it could go a long way
Developer Response Thank you so much for the kind words and the 5 stars! "A good repeat of things to manage" is exactly the loop we're going for, so it means a lot to hear it's landing. And don't worry, updates are absolutely still coming. We've got new content in the pipeline and we're committed to helping Guild Master Tycoon go the distance. Thanks for being part of the journey! 🛡️

I love the core gameplay loop here. Just needs a little more complexity-- maybe a semblance of an overarching story, or the ability to earn heros with more advanced classes.
Developer Response Thank you so much for the kind words and the thoughtful suggestion! You'll be happy to hear the next update does exactly what you asked: you can now promote your heroes into advanced classes. Turn a Warrior into a Knight or Berserker, a Mage into an Archmage or Warlock, a Rogue into an Assassin or Ranger. Each path changes how your hero grows and unlocks new gear options, so leveling up your favorites has a bigger payoff. Keep an eye out for it, and thanks for helping make Guild Master Tycoon better! ⚔️

Streak Shields fix:
- Shields are now checked whenever you come back to the game or complete a mission, not just on a fresh launch.
- A shield is only spent at the moment you actually play, so simply opening the game the day after a miss no longer burns your monthly use, and a shield you earn or buy later that day still counts.
- A shield is never spent on an empty streak.
- You'll now see a message when a shield protects your streak, and if your streak does reset, a note explaining why (for example, this month's shield was already used).
- The Streak Shield card now says clearly that shields are applied automatically.

WEEKLY COLOSSEUM CHAMPIONS
Every season now crowns a Champion. Finish the week at the top of the Colosseum leaderboard to earn the title, a Champion badge next to your name, and the first-ever Divine-tier item reward. Past champions are honored too.
CODEX EXPANDED: 33 TO 44 ENTRIES
A new Colosseum category tracks your arena career with First Blood, Gladiator, and Champion of the Colosseum, powered by lifetime win and loss records that never reset. Eight new endgame entries challenge veterans: amass 1,000,000 gold, win 100 raids, raise a hero to level 100, keep a 365-day login streak, and more.
QUALITY OF LIFE
Sound effects are quieter and easier on the ears
The Guild tab now shows an alert dot when tavern gold is ready or a building is at risk, visible from any tab
Fixed heroes getting stuck in the Colosseum queue when leaving before a match; stale challenges now resolve properly and ghost challengers are gone
Updated internals for performance and stability

THE GUILD LEDGER
Working out what your guild costs to run used to mean visiting three separate screens and adding the numbers up yourself. Now it is one line on the Guild screen: total upkeep, Tavern income, and your net gold per day.
Tap it to open the full ledger, itemized into Income, Heroes, Defenses and Facilities. Every hero wage, every defense and every building is listed with what it costs you each day, and anything one unpaid day away from being sold or losing a level is clearly flagged, with a shortcut straight to your Buildings. The maintenance totals on both Buildings tabs open the same ledger, so you can get the whole picture from wherever you are.
The ledger tracks recurring gold only. Quest rewards and one-off payouts are far too variable to total up and are not included, so a negative net does not mean your guild is in trouble.
THE TAVERN BANK
The Tavern's old 8-hour offline limit and daily claim cap are gone. Gold now simply banks up as it is earned, holding up to 12 hours' worth, and you collect whenever you like. Empty it more often and you earn more; leave it full and it stops filling, so the game now sends a reminder when the bank tops out.
Facility costs and rates also reach existing guilds properly now, so future balance changes will apply to your save instead of only to new ones.
INVENTORY AND COLOSSEUM
Equipment can be sorted and filtered by favored class. There is a new Class sort option and an All / Warrior / Mage / Rogue filter row, and your choice is remembered between visits.
The Colosseum challenger picker now shows each hero's combined power, so you can tell at a glance who you are sending.
Entering a fight shows a proper loading state instead of an unresponsive screen, so a slow connection cannot leave you tapping twice.
The waiting-challenger notification cooldown is shorter, and a general notification no longer stops you being told about a rematch.
FIXES
The "Upkeep" figure on the Guild screen was only counting hero wages and defenses. It left out facility maintenance entirely, which for most established guilds is the largest cost of all. It now counts everything.
The daily upkeep notice was reporting only what you paid your heroes, not what you actually paid in total. On a guild with a few buildings that could be off by a wide margin. It now reports the real figure.
A guild with no heroes was not being charged for its buildings at all. Defenses and facilities are now maintained whether or not you have anyone on the roster. The usual one-day grace period still applies: nothing is sold or downgraded until a second consecutive day goes unpaid.
Tavern income in the ledger assumes one collection a day, which is what the bank holds. Collecting twice a day earns up to double, so the figure is a floor rather than a promise.

Fixes and improvements
- Fixed a startup crash on iOS. If the system declined to give the game an audio session, such as during a call or while another app held audio, the game could close instead of simply starting without sound.
- Fixed a crash when choosing a party to send on a party quest. If your saved parties changed in the background while the picker was open, scrolling the list could close the game.
- Selection sheets now handle long lists properly. The Colosseum hero picker, the send-a-party picker, and the item actions sheet scroll instead of clipping, cap their height so the rest of the screen stays visible, and have a drag handle so you can swipe them away.
- Fixed the sound toggle not always taking effect. Muting and unmuting no longer wait on the setting being saved first.

Quests just got tougher!
We've rebalanced early-game quest difficulty to make your climb more rewarding:
- Solo and party quest stat requirements are now higher and scale up more with your guild's average level, so there's a real challenge from the start.
- Every level-up, promotion, and gear upgrade counts for more as you push your heroes to clear harder contracts.
We've also made behind-the-scenes stability and performance improvements.
Thanks for playing Guild Master Tycoon! Keep the feedback coming.
1.25.3 Jul 22
Battle other guilds' champions in the Colosseum, our asynchronous PvP arena.
What's new:
Browse and pick your fight
Entering the Colosseum now shows the champions currently waiting for an opponent, so you can choose who to challenge by their level. If no one is waiting, you'll be matched automatically.
Get notified
Stay in the fight even when you're away. You'll be alerted the moment a rival near your hero's level enters the arena, when your battle resolves with the result, and when a rival wants a rematch. Beaten by someone? Tap the avenge alert to challenge them right back. Prefer quiet? You can turn alerts off anytime in Settings.
Smoother and friendlier
Refined Colosseum matchmaking and a refreshed look, plus improved onboarding to help new guild masters get started.
Climb the weekly seasonal ladder, earn your rank, and prove your guild reigns supreme. Thanks for playing Guild Master Tycoon!
1.25.1 Jul 13
Enter the Colosseum! Send a hero to battle other guilds' champions in the new opt-in arena. Climb the rating ladder, compete in weekly seasons, and check your standing on the new PvP leaderboard. We also rebuilt the tutorial: a quick guided tour for new guildmasters, plus bite-sized tips the first time you visit each screen. Replay any of them from the menu or the new ? buttons. And by popular demand, you can now unequip items directly. Good luck in the arena!
1.25.0 Jul 10
Limited-time offers have arrived in the Guild Shop! New guild masters can claim a one-time Founder's Pack packed with gold and gems, your first pack purchase now comes with a 2x bonus, and rotating deals bring bonus gold and gems on select packs. Watch for the glowing Shop badge. Purchases are also more reliable: clear confirmations, and if a purchase is ever interrupted, your items are delivered automatically the next time you play. Plus small fixes and polish.
1.24.0 Jul 7
This update makes guild upkeep clearer and a lot more forgiving.
What's new:
- Early warning: Buildings and defense upgrades now give you a full day's notice before they drop a level or get auto-sold to cover unpaid maintenance. You'll have time to earn gold and keep everything you've built.
- "While You Were Away" summary: When you come back, a clear recap shows your daily upkeep, anything that's now at risk, and anything that was downgraded or sold, so you're never left guessing about what changed.
- "At Risk" badges: The Buildings screen now flags any building or defense upgrade that couldn't be maintained, so you can top up your gold before the next day rolls around.
We've also fixed a few issues and polished things up behind the scenes. Thanks for playing Guild Master Tycoon!
1.23.3 Jun 30
Party Quests are here!
Team up 3 to 6 heroes into a party to quest and level up together. Complete party-exclusive achievements, refresh quests with gems, and compete for the top spot on the new weighted-win party leaderboard.
Also in this update:
Item Lock: protect your favorite gear so it's never sold by mistake
Saved sorting: your hero and item sort order is now remembered between sessions
Weekly Boss: stage 3 has been retuned so it's winnable, and a failed stage can now be retried in place instead of ending your run
New matching sounds and haptics when you start and complete party quests
Stability improvements, including a fix for a rare startup navigation crash
Thanks for playing Guild Master Tycoon! Keep the feedback coming.

PARTY QUESTS ARE HERE
You asked, and your guild answered! You can now group 3 to 6 adventurers into a party and send them out on quests together. The whole party takes on each mission as a team, and every member earns experience and levels up side by side.
Build and save your favorite parties, then send them out in a single tap.
A fresh set of party quests is available every day, with surprise encounters along the way.
Climb the brand-new Party Quests leaderboard and unlock party-themed achievements.
MORE IMPROVEMENTS

Your hero roster and inventory now remember your chosen sort order.
Thank you for playing Guild Master Tycoon. More to come!
1.23.0 Jun 25
In this update:
- Fixed a bug that could reset your daily streak even when you completed your daily quests. Streaks are now tracked correctly across all time zones, so your hard-earned progress stays safe.
- Improved the readability of button text on the recruitment screen for a cleaner, easier-to-read look.
Thank you for playing Guild Master Tycoon. We read every piece of feedback, so please keep it coming!
1.22.4 Jun 17
What's new:
Promotion fix: Heroes that leveled up before promotions arrived were not getting credit for that progress, leaving them stuck at "0/10 levels gained." We now recover those earned levels so your veteran heroes can advance into their advanced classes (Knight, Berserker, Archmage, Warlock, Assassin, Ranger) as intended. This works whether or not you're signed in.
Leaderboard polish: Improved text contrast on the top-ranked cards so names are easier to read.
Thank you for playing Guild Master Tycoon. Keep the feedback and reviews coming, they directly shape what we fix and build next.

Big leaderboard rebalance! Scores are now powered by your heroes and progress instead of the gold piled up in your vault, so numbers will look smaller for everyone. All players have been rescored fairly under the new system. Best of all, spending gold on upgrades no longer drags your rank down, so build away! The Shop also got a refresh: packs are sorted by price, the best deal is highlighted, and new larger gold and gem packs are available. Plus minor fixes and improvements.
1.22.0 Jun 12
New in this update: Hero Class Promotions!
Your heroes can now grow beyond their starting class. Once a hero has gained enough levels since you recruited them, you can promote them into a powerful advanced class with a new identity and upgraded potential:
- Warriors can become Knights or Berserkers
- Mages can become Archmages or Warlocks
- Rogues can become Assassins or Rangers
Choose the path that best fits your strategy and build the ultimate guild roster.
We've also made the leaderboard fairer. Suspicious and flagged accounts are now excluded from the top 15, so the rankings reflect real players.
This release also includes behind-the-scenes updates to core libraries for better stability and performance.
Thanks for playing Guild Master Tycoon. Keep the feedback coming!

Defend your guild like a true tactician in this update.
PLAN YOUR RAID DEFENSE
The incoming-raid warning has been completely reworked. Instead of a simple alert, you now get a full preview of the next attack: which hero is set to defend, their effective defense level (with backup and guard bonuses broken out so you can see the math), and the estimated level range of the raiders heading your way.
PICK YOUR DEFENDER
You are no longer at the mercy of auto-selection. Tap to choose exactly which idle hero stands guard against the next raid. If that hero heads out on a quest before the attack lands, the game quietly falls back to your best available defender, so you will never be left undefended.
SORT YOUR ROSTER
The guild screen now lets you sort your heroes by Level, Power, Class, or Name, making it far easier to find the right hero at a glance.
SMARTER EQUIPPING
The equip dialog now shows which class each item favors and sorts matching-class heroes to the top. A new "Compatible only" filter hides heroes who cannot make the most of the gear, so you can equip the right item to the right hero in seconds.
FORGE REBALANCE
Top-tier crafting recipes now cost fewer gems, bringing the best forge upgrades within reach of regular play rather than weeks of saving.
Plus the usual round of behind-the-scenes fixes and stability improvements. Thanks for playing.

Two new ways to play between daily quests.
The Codex is a permanent achievements screen with 24 goals to chase across Combat, Collection, Economy, Progression and Streak categories. Track raid defenses, forge milestones, recruitment, lifetime gold earned, and more. Each completion grants gold, gems, items, or even a free hero. A trophy icon on the Guild header lights up when you have something to claim.
The Weekly Boss Expedition is a multi-stage team event that runs alongside your daily quests. Send three heroes through a 3-stage fight where each stage tests a different stat (Strength, Intelligence, or Agility) and swap your roster between stages to match the next challenge. Stages take 15 minutes each and run in the background, so you can close the app and come back later. Win all three stages to earn a Legendary item and a gem reward. A new boss rotates in every week, with six total bosses on the schedule.
You can Recall your team mid-stage if you want to try a different lineup, and the expedition keeps your cleared stages locked in. Both defeat and victory now show a clear outcome dialog with the boss, the stage that decided the run, and your team's stats versus the threshold.
Also includes layout polish on smaller screens and a fix for an overflow on quest event choices.

The Forge is here. You'll find a new tab inside the Inventory screen. Pick 3 same-tier items of the same type (weapons or armor), spend some gems, and craft a higher-tier item from them. The recipe goes up to Legendary. Gem cost scales by tier, from 10 gems to forge a Common up to 400 gems to forge a Legendary. The forged item's stats are based on the strongest input in each stat slot, multiplied by 1.5. The output subtype favors whatever subtype was most common in your inputs. Equipped gear is left out of the material pool, and there's always a preview dialog before anything is consumed.
Also new in this update: bulk selling. In the Items tab, tap the new Select button (or long-press an item) to enter selection mode. Pick what you want to clear out, hit Sell, and confirm. There's a Select All shortcut for clearing everything visible at once. No more tapping items one at a time.
One more small thing: the Inventory icon in the bottom nav now shows a red dot when you have items ready to forge. It clears the first time you open the Forge tab.
Thanks to everyone who asked for batch selling in reviews. Keep the feedback coming.

New in Settings: an "Anonymous Analytics" toggle. We've started collecting anonymous gameplay data — which features players use, where the game gets stuck. To help us tune quests, raids, and balance. Inventory overhaul
- New rarity-tiered item cards with clear icons and inline stat chips, so you can read gear at a glance.
- Epic and legendary items now glow to stand out from common loot.
- Items sort by tier so your best gear surfaces first.
- The equip dialog shows a clean item header.
- Stat colors are now unified with the missions screen.
- Fixed an overflow bug on hero rows.
Quest refresh changes
- Get 1 free quest refresh every day.
- Paid refreshes now scale with your heroes' average level, starting at 200 gold and capped at 1500 gold. This replaces the old flat 850 gold price, so early-game players pay less and late-game players pay a fair amount.
Thanks for playing Guild Master Tycoon!
1.16.0 May 12
Raids feel fairer now! Your idle heroes back each other up: every extra defender adds +1 to your defense, up to +3. Equal-level matchups are now a true 50/50 coin flip instead of an automatic loss. Raiders scale with your overall guild progress, and grow tougher when your champion is away on a quest. So, build the Guard Barracks if you plan to send your strongest hero out. Raid results now show your defender's level and how many allies helped repel the attack.
1.15.0 May 12
This update introduces the Guild Facilities system, a new tycoon management layer that adds long-term progression beyond your heroes and gear.
Build four upgradeable facilities, each providing a permanent passive bonus:
- Tavern: generates gold passively while you play or while you're away. Claim once per day.
- Training Grounds: every quest your heroes complete grants bonus XP.
- Library: adds flat INT to every hero in your guild.
- Arena: adds flat STR to every hero in your guild.
Each facility upgrades up to Level 10. Build costs grow exponentially, bonuses grow linearly, and ongoing daily maintenance scales more gently. If you fall behind on maintenance, facilities lose a level until they pay for themselves again.
Unlock new facilities by completing quests and investing gold into your guild. The Tavern is available from the start; Training Grounds, Library, and Arena unlock as you progress.
The Defenses screen has been renamed to Buildings and now houses both Defense upgrades and Facilities in a tabbed layout. When your Tavern has gold ready to claim, a pulsing indicator appears on the Buildings button so you can collect it without hunting through menus.
The new-player tutorial has been updated to introduce the Buildings system.
1.14.3 May 10
Streak Shields fix:
- Shields are now checked whenever you come back to the game or complete a mission, not just on a fresh launch.
- A shield is only spent at the moment you actually play, so simply opening the game the day after a miss no longer burns your monthly use, and a shield you earn or buy later that day still counts.
- A shield is never spent on an empty streak.
- You'll now see a message when a shield protects your streak, and if your streak does reset, a note explaining why (for example, this month's shield was already used).
- The Streak Shield card now says clearly that shields are applied automatically.
