Built for people who spend hours at a screen every day.
Long work sessions are hard on your eyes. Eye Care helps you build a simple habit: take short, regular breaks — and feel the difference by the end of the day.
How it works
Set a work interval and a break duration. The app runs quietly in your menu bar and reminds you when it's time to rest. A gentle full-screen overlay appears so you actually stop — not just minimize a window and keep working.
Ready-made presets
Not sure where to start? Pick one of the built-in schedules:
Quick Reset — a fast 3-minute break every 15 minutes
Balanced — the classic work-rest rhythm most people start with
Deep Focus — longer work blocks with slightly longer recovery
And more
Every preset is designed around giving your eyes meaningful rest without breaking your workflow.
Custom sessions
Want full control? Set exactly how long you work and how long you rest — down to the minute. Save multiple custom schedules and switch between them instantly.
Statistics
See how much time you've spent working today, how many breaks you've taken, and how consistent your habits have been over the past week.
Menu bar integration
Eye Care lives in your menu bar — always available, never in the way. Pause, resume, or check your status without opening a window.
Notifications
Optional 30-second heads-up before each break, so you can wrap up your thought before the overlay appears.
