BeMeal is the food-first social app for the people you actually eat with. Snap what's on your plate, share it with your close circle, and see what your friends are really cooking, ordering and eating. No filters, no influencers, no pressure.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Post your meals — up to six photos per post, with a caption, a rating and where you ate.
• Keep it close — your profile is private by default, so only friends you accept see your meals.
• React and rate — long-press the like button for Yum, Drool, Fire, Nice Cooking, Chef's Kiss or Yuck, and rate your friends' meals.
• Comment and @mention — chat under every post, and follow the threads you're in.
• Co-author meals — add the friends you ate with as collaborators, so one dinner appears on everyone's profile.
• Earn achievements — badges for your first plate, brunch club, the full menu, home cooking, travel and more. Show them off on your profile or keep them private.
• Explore places and hashtags — tap a location to see its page and the community's best photo, browse trending and nearby places, and follow hashtags from the Discover tab.
• Bring your friends — share a personal invite link, or find who's already here from your contacts.
BUILT FOR PRIVACY
• Private by default. You choose who follows you.
• No ads and no selling of your data.
• Analytics only with your consent, and high-privacy settings for under-18s.
• Export or delete your data from Settings at any time.
A HEALTHIER FEED
BeMeal isn't about performing for strangers. It's the group chat for food, with photos: the dinner you're proud of, the takeaway on a Tuesday, the brunch that went on too long. Real meals, from real friends.
Sign in with Apple, Google or your phone number. BeMeal is for people aged 16 and over.

What's new in 1.1.0
• Achievements — earn badges as you post, show them off on your profile, or keep them private in Settings.
• Reactions are now food-focused — long-press the like button for Yum, Drool, Fire, Nice Cooking, Chef's Kiss, and Yuck.
• Co-authored posts now appear on your profile once you accept, and you're notified when people like, comment on, or rate them.
• Invite links now show your name and preview as a card when shared in messaging apps.
Fixes
• Invite links now reliably connect you with the friend who invited you, even if you open one before finishing sign-up.
• The app stays readable at the largest accessibility text sizes, and screen readers can now move through every sheet.
• Choosing a photo that hasn't finished downloading from iCloud now shows a clear message instead of silently failing.
• Fixed the "Rate BeMeal" button doing nothing, plus a round of smaller fixes and polish across the app.
