Rarity is a dice roll, so the clover by your mailbox could come up Legendary. Go catch something and see what it rolls.
Photograph a plant and it joins your collection, with a rarity rolled at random from Common to Mythic. The dandelion in a sidewalk crack can outrank a rose.
CATCH
Point your camera at a plant and tap. Your catches stay in your collection with your photos, so you can scroll back through everything you've found.
LEVEL UP
Each catch earns XP. Levels go up to 100, and the 116 badges have names like Paparazzi, Pond Hopper and Winter Wonder.
QUESTS AND STREAKS
You get three new quests every day, like Fern Finder or Double Down, plus bigger weekly ones. Catch something each day to keep your streak going. A streak freeze covers the days you can't get outside.
FRIENDS
Add friends by username and see what they're catching. Each catch has its own Share to Friends switch, so you decide what they see.
KEEP YOUR COLLECTION
Play as a guest straight away. Make an account with Apple, Google or email and your collection comes with you to a new phone.
A NOTE ON NAMES
PocketPetal is a game. Plant names come from image recognition, which can get things wrong. Your match percentage shows on every result, and you can correct a name if you know better.

PocketPetal is free to play, with 5 captures a day. Two optional subscriptions add more:
• PocketPetal+: 50 captures a day, 2 streak freezes a week, special quests and a member badge
• PocketPetal Pro: no daily capture cap, 4 streak freezes a week, special quests and a member badge
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
