Lunar Calendar
Navigate the Hijri calendar with an interactive lunar arc that tracks the moon’s journey through each month. See the moon phase update in real time, from New Moon to Full Moon and back, with a detailed visualization showing illumination, shadow, and atmospheric glow.
Multiple Calculation Methods
Choose from three Hijri calculation methods: Umm al-Qura, Islamic Civil, or Islamic Tabular. You can also fine-tune dates with a manual adjustment of up to ±2 days to account for local moon sighting differences.
Prayer Times
Get accurate prayer times for Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha based on your location. Choose from 12 calculation methods including Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Egyptian General Authority, and more. Select your preferred madhab (Shafi’i, Maliki, Hanbali, or Hanafi) for Asr calculation.
Islamic Events
Browse 30+ pre-loaded Islamic events including Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, the start of Ramadan, Laylat al-Qadr, Isra & Mi'raj, Mawlid al-Nabi, Day of Arafah, Day of Ashura, and more. Each event includes a description and is color-coded by type: Eid, Hajj, Ramadan, Holiday, Fasting, and Historical.
Sunnah Fasting Guide
Never miss a recommended fast. Taqwim highlights sunnah fasting days directly on the calendar, including Monday and Thursday fasts, Ayyam al-Beed (White Days), the Day of Arafah, and the Six Days of Shawwal.
