Calibrate and inspect your home theater with Sound Test 3D for 5.1 to 9.1.6. Designed for Mac and Apple Vision Pro, it provides deterministic reference signals for testing discrete speaker channels and exploring spatial sound.
Whether you use a 5.1 soundbar, a 7.1 theater, or a 9.1.6 immersive speaker layout, the app helps identify channels, inspect route capacity, and find missing or incorrectly assigned speakers. It does not certify a receiver or codec mode.
DISCRETE SPEAKER IDENTIFICATION
• Test common layouts: Stereo (2.0, 2.1), 3.1, 5.1, 5.1.2, 5.1.4, 7.1, 7.1.2, 7.1.4, and full 9.1.6.
• Isolate and test individual channels: Front Left, Center, Front Right, Side Surrounds, Rear Surrounds, Wides, Subwoofer (LFE), and all Height/Overhead elevation speakers.
• Guided Speaker Tour: Automated spoken-channel sequence that cycles through each speaker in your room.
• No Silent Downmixing: The app detects your active audio route capacity and warns you if channels are missing.
