Fun Concept with Big Potential for Serious Collectors
ChRiLl!?
As a collector who follows market values and trends closely, I really like what Double Holo is building. The concept is fun, engaging, and captures that same excitement you get from opening packs or chasing cards. The app is clean and easy to use, and it’s great for both casual and newer collectors. That said, adding more market data (recent sales, trends, or grading context) would take it to the next level and make it even more valuable for serious collectors. Overall, strong concept with a lot of potential.
Mediocre app, terrible analytics
JustinJav
There are a few reasons I’m writing this review today. First, the apps market value can be off of TCG by a large margin. I’ve lost hundreds sticking to double holo pricing instead of just using TCGplayer. I wanted the easiness of a scan and inventory type of deal but essentially I’m scamming myself using the feature I payed $60 for the year for.Another reason, I hate advertisements in my email. When you give them your email - they will send you ads for arena club and other companies, mind you I’m a premium user because I didn’t cancel in time. This is ridiculous and incredibly incredulous. I unsubscribed from their emails and just plan on taking the $60 L here and move on.I love the idea of the app, and I’m aware the pricing comes from various forms such as eBay too. I’m just not a fan, and I’m sure there are others with similar qualms.
2/5 bc that's all that showed up

I ordered five different cards from five different sellers. I guess they're maybe still getting things figured out on this app. The scanner is fine. Super fast, super quick. You do have to occasionally double-check cards that are non-English. That's fine. But of the five purchases I made, only two of the cards showed up. All three of the other sellers refunded purchases after I got messages that their listings were incorrect, or the cards had sold somewhere else. Which is just some newbie activity. I believe one seller just refunded the card because the value of the card went up after I purchased it. Just some things that shouldn't happen on this type of app. Hopefully they get some things cleaned up and the best sellers rise to the top.
Good app, but missing key buyer features
Jernots
The Double Holo app works well for browsing and selling, but it is missing a major feature for buyers: the ability to easily view and manage bids inside the app. I can find my bids on the website, but not in the iOS app, which means I have to use both instead of relying on the app alone.Right now, the app feels more centered around the selling experience than the buying experience. Buyers need the same level of consideration, especially for core marketplace features like tracking active bids, managing offers, and seeing bid status clearly.I like the idea of the app and want to use it more, but this missing functionality makes the experience feel incomplete.
- Major vendor hub bug improvements
- New vendor hub pricing
