Small improvements behind the scenes. Thanks for using Sphere!

We refreshed our App Store page. The app works just as it did before.

Signing in is simpler. Enter your email and we'll send you a 6-digit code, with no password to remember. Prefer a password? It's still there, and if you forget it you can set a new one right in the app. Sphere now uses the new glass look for its buttons and bars, and your meals scroll softly beneath them. Add Food opens faster, with the keyboard ready as the screen appears. Foods logged more than once read naturally, like "2 slices".

Copy and paste a meal. Long press any food or any meal on Home to copy it, then paste it into another meal, or swipe to another day and paste it there. A meal you eat often no longer means logging the same thing twice. Also in this update: - Log any food by weight or by calories. Grams and calories now sit alongside a food's own units, including foods you logged from a photo. - Fixed a problem where an expired sign-in could leave the app looking signed in while anything you logged quietly failed to save.

Sphere 2.0 is our biggest update yet, built around logging a meal in seconds. - Better Meal Handling: Home shows each meal as one row with its photo or food pictures, total calories and items. - Snap and go: take a photo or type what you ate and get on with your day. Sphere logs it in the background and lets you know when it's done. - Log by voice: tap the mic in the search bar, or use the widget, Control Center or the Action Button, and just say what you ate. - Meal details: tap a meal to see its photo, macros and items, set how much of it you ate, or fix it in plain words with Quick Fix ("that was two eggs, not one"). - Faster photo results, smarter search, and coffee drinks with realistic calories in every size. - Barcodes work much more reliably.

Net carbs are here. Turn on "Track net carbs" in Settings > Nutrition and your carbs ring becomes net carbs (carbs minus fiber) with its own goal - on your dashboard, in My Progress, and in the widget. Also in this update: - My Progress opens instantly, even with a long weight history - The macro chart keeps your selection when you change date ranges - Viewing a past day now shows which day you're on - More accurate nutrition data across hundreds of foods - Small fixes and polish throughout

General bug fixes and improvements to food logging.

General bug fixes and improvements to logging and sign-in.

Small improvements to sign-up and Settings, plus general bug fixes.

Fixes a bug where the Add Food screen could jump back to the dashboard — right after launching the app, or when backing out of the camera.

Easier food editing and cleaner food names. - Editing a food now shows nutrition per serving, the way the label on the package reads, instead of per 100 g. Tap a number to type right over it, and adjust the serving weight to match what you ate. - Food names from photo scans and typed entries now appear in Title Case. Branded products keep their own styling. - Fixed the Add Food header briefly counting newly added items twice.

Sphere now works without a connection. Everything you log offline, including food, water, weight, and settings changes, is saved on your phone and syncs automatically when you are back online. Photo scans finish in the background. Snap a photo, close the window, and the analysis saves itself when done. Food search got smarter too. The full food catalog now lives on your phone, simple everyday foods rank first, and the search button always interprets exactly what you typed. Plus a quick new way to tell us how Sphere is working for you, in Settings.

• Creating an account is smoother: we now email you a 6-digit code that you enter right in the app — no more bouncing out to Safari and back. • Under-the-hood improvements that help us find and fix rough spots faster.

Tell us how we're doing, right from the app. After you've logged a handful of meals, Sphere asks for a quick star rating. If something isn't working for you, tell us exactly what, or grab a time to talk it through with the team. You can also share feedback anytime from the bottom of Settings. Also in this update: a cleaner, more native portion editor.

• Redesigned portion editor — picking servings, units, and quantities when logging food is faster and clearer • Streaks and skip days are now free for everyone • A refreshed, consistent look for every sheet in the app • Fixes: nutrition info now carries over when switching units, and sheets no longer shift around

• You can now peek at Premium features right where they live: macros, trend charts, and your streak show as previews instead of being hidden away. • Starting a free trial? We'll remind you before it ends, so there are no surprise charges. • Under-the-hood improvements to make subscriptions and syncing more reliable. Thanks for tracking with Sphere! Have feedback? We'd love to hear it.

• Edit any food: adjust calories, macros, and portion sizes to match what you actually ate. Your edits stick for future logs, and you can always revert to the original. • Smarter portion sizes for bulk foods, so servings start from realistic amounts. • Small fixes to keep your food catalog fresh and logging fast.

This update makes logging faster and smoother: • Sphere now opens to your data instantly, refreshing quietly in the background • Editing a logged food opens on the exact serving you logged • The portion slider glides with momentum — flick it, tap to catch it • Smarter default portions for drinks and single-serve foods • Repeat logs save silently — your first log of the day still gets its moment • More personal reminders, plus a streak-counting fix
