Film physics, not filters. 10 film stocks, cinema print stocks, physical dials, and live viewfinder emulation. No subscriptions. No tracking. Licht is a film camera for iPhone that renders the look before you take the photo. The live viewfinder runs a layered GPU analog-imaging pipeline that composes lens falloff, aberration, softness and glare with film tone, grain, halation, print stocks, push/pull development, and format behavior before the shutter fires. It is not a filter pasted on afterward. What you see is what you save. FILM STOCKS 8 color and 2 black & white film emulations, each calibrated to the color science and optical behavior of real film: • Kodak Portra 400 — warm, soft skin tones • Kodak Gold 200 — punchy yellows, nostalgic • Kodak Ektar 100 — vivid, fine grain • Kodachrome 64 — rich, deep shadows • Fujifilm Velvia 50 — hyper-saturated slides • Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400 — warm, green-shifted consumer film • Fujifilm Pro 400H — soft, ethereal pastels • CineStill 800T — tungsten-balanced, cinematic halation • Kodak Tri-X 400 — classic black & white • Ilford HP5 Plus 400 — smooth, fine-grain B&W Plus a clean Sensor mode when you just want the shot. CINEMA PRINT STOCKS Layer a second print-response look on top: Kodak VISION 2383 (balanced), Kodak VISION Premier 2393 (bolder contrast and color), or Fujicolor F-CP 3510 (neutral). CONTROLS Physical-style dials for exposure compensation, push/pull development, focal length, and film stock selection. FILM FORMATS Shoot in 35mm, half-frame, 6×6, 6×7, or 4×5. Each format adjusts grain scale and optical characteristics to match. PUSH/PULL DEVELOPMENT Simulate under- or overdeveloping your film from -1 to +3 stops, just like in a real darkroom. DETAILS • GPS geotagging • Full EXIF data including film stock metadata • Optionally save a copy without Licht emulation alongside the emulated photo • Horizon level and grid overlays • Self-timer (3, 5, 10 seconds) • Haptic feedback for the shutter, dials, and camera controls • No ads, no subscriptions, no tracking • Available in 12 languages Kodak, Portra, Ektar, Gold, Kodachrome, Tri-X, and Vision are trademarks of Eastman Kodak Company. Fujifilm, Velvia, Superia, Pro 400H, and Fujicolor are trademarks of Fujifilm Corporation. Ilford and HP5 are trademarks of Harman Technology Ltd. CineStill is a trademark of CineStill Film. Licht 3.5 brings more physical film rendering. Formats now scale grain, halation, and lens character using real enlargement geometry; each stock has its own halation response; and full-resolution photos use a higher-quality processing path. Every stock has also been retuned, with improvements to camera, gallery, and purchase reliability.
