Licht now supports iPhone Duo. The camera and gallery adapt to the larger display when you unfold it, and you can show a live film preview on the outer display so the people you photograph can see the shot. The gallery now groups your photos into rolls, with a contact sheet and a film strip. Share a frame as a photo, a print, or a strip, or touch and hold it to compare it with Sensor. The guide in Settings explains every dial with real examples and loads the film stock you choose. Licht also remembers your film stock, format, push/pull, and print stock, and the selfie viewfinder now stays upright on iPhone 17.

Enjoy a refined camera and gallery experience, high-resolution photo zoom, easy access to photo details, sharing and deletion, refreshed settings, and support for more languages.

Fixed an issue on iOS 27 that could cause the live viewfinder to appear black when using film modes.

Licht 3.5 brings more physical film rendering. Formats now scale grain, halation, and lens character using real enlargement geometry; each stock has its own halation response; and full-resolution photos use a higher-quality processing path. Every stock has also been retuned, with improvements to camera, gallery, and purchase reliability.

Licht 3.3 improves the live film response and capture consistency, with richer color behavior, more calibrated color-edge rendering, closer viewfinder-to-photo matching, and smoother camera performance.

Licht 3.2 refreshes the language around the app and store listing, with clearer wording for film physics, live emulation, controls, and formats. The capture experience stays the same: no subscriptions, no ads, and no tracking.

Licht 3.1 makes photo details more useful. Open Photo Info to see a cleaner sheet with richer metadata cards and, when location was saved, a map of where the shot was taken. Gallery browsing is smoother too.

Licht 3 makes the camera easier to learn and smoother to use. The Guide now opens concepts progressively, the gallery has a cleaner layout with smoother transitions, controls feel more consistent, and accessibility labels, haptics, and localized copy have been refined throughout.

Licht has a refreshed app icon, giving the camera a cleaner, more precise presence on your Home Screen while the shooting experience stays the same.

Licht 2.0 is tuned for the latest iOS while continuing to support iOS 17 and newer devices. This release sharpens the first-run and shooting experience: clearer access states in Settings, refined onboarding, smoother gallery and permission flows, and faster optical pipeline processing while preserving the same film look.
