Under the hood maintenance. No new features, no behavior changes. This release updates several security dependencies — specifically the libraries used during app packaging and server routing. Everything works exactly as before; we just took care of some housekeeping that good software deserves. Choose Your Experience (Existing Users) If you've been using Cabin Count since before version 2.0, you'll see a one-time prompt when you open the app. It takes 5 seconds: just tap whether you're Flight Crew or a Traveler, hit Continue, and you're done. The app will immediately adjust to give you the right experience — no restart needed. Switch Profile Anytime You can now change your profile type at any time from your account settings. Open the account menu, find the "Switch Profile" row, and tap Pilot or Traveler. A quick confirmation keeps it from being an accidental tap. Your flight data is never affected — only the app experience changes. Bug Fix: Traveler Sign-Ups A timing issue was causing some new accounts registered as Traveler to be stored as Crew instead. This meant the wrong experience loaded — no toggle, but wrong fields visible, or vice versa. This is now fixed. Affected accounts have been corrected.

When signing up, you choose your profile — each unlocks a tailored experience built around how you actually use the skies. Release Notes — v1.3.2 Bug Fixes State map not updating after logging flights — The US state map now correctly reflects newly logged, edited, or deleted flights immediately. Previously, a state could appear missing even when a flight to that destination had been saved (e.g., Arizona not highlighted after logging a PHX flight). World map not updating after logging flights — The same fix applies to the world/country map. Countries are now recalculated whenever flights are added, edited, or deleted. Security — Updated an internal dependency (flatted) to address a reported vulnerability.

World Map Track every country you've flown to with a new World Map tab. Your visited countries fill in as you log flights, joining the existing Routes and US States views. Map Export Export your US States or World Map as a CSV spreadsheet or PNG image to save and share your coverage. Crew Connect Starting a flight, joining a crew member, or inviting someone to the app is now one tap — the three options appear directly on the screen without an extra menu step. Crew invites now include a referral code field during sign-up so new members are automatically linked to you when they create their account. App Updates The app now checks for updates on launch. Critical updates will prompt you to visit the App Store before continuing. Release Notes What's New US States Heat Map You can now track every US state you've flown into. Enable "Track US State Coverage" in your account preferences and a new US States tab appears on your map. Every state you've ever landed in fills in on a choropleth map. Tap any state to see your visit count, your last airport, and when you were there. Your progress toward all 50 is tracked at the top. When you're ready to brag, hit share. This feature is opt-in and applies to your full flight history — your existing logs are processed automatically the moment you turn it on. Improvements A bigger, better milestone ladder The Souls Carried milestone ladder has been rebuilt from 20 levels to 27. The early milestones now use framing pilots actually think in — 737 loads, A380 turns, NHL arenas. The mid-tier milestones scale up to stadiums and cities. At one million souls, the tone goes quiet. New milestones extend all the way to ten million. Milestone progress bars now reflect your tier The progress bar toward your next milestone is now colored to match the tier you're approaching. Bronze fills bronze. Gold fills gold. Legendary fills red. A small thing, but you'll notice it. Better milestone sharing When you share a milestone from your Impact Journal, the card now leads with the milestone's narrative copy — the equivalency line that makes the number mean something — rather than a dry stat. Fixes State visit data now loads correctly after enabling the feature Some pilots were seeing an empty states map immediately after turning on tracking, even with a full flight history. This has been corrected — your history is now fully processed before the map loads. Duplicate airport entries removed A small number of airports were listed twice in the state lookup table, which caused a backend error on startup. Cleaned up.

Cabin Count — Release Notes March 15, 2026 Bug Fixes Crew Connect modal — Fixed a rendering issue where the invite screen displayed a double dark overlay, distorting the layout. The modal now appears correctly centered with a single backdrop. Miles milestones — Milestone cards for mileage achievements now correctly display miles flown rather than souls carried. Souls count on milestones — Milestone cards that don't have a specific souls threshold now fall back to the actual passengers carried for that entry, so the number shown is always accurate. Sharing Improvements Share Invite button — A "Share Invite" button has been added to the crew invite flow. Tapping it opens the native share sheet with a pre-written message containing your invite code and a direct link to Cabin Count on the App Store. The "Copy Invite Code" button is still available alongside it. Cleaner journal sharing — Share messages from milestone, destination, aircraft, and reflection cards now contain only the essential content — no stray placeholder URLs or redundant metadata. Polish & Terminology "Crew members" throughout — Invite share messages now refer to crew members rather than flight attendants, consistent with the rest of the app. Tablet / iPad layout — Content on the Log, Journal, Login, and Stats screens is now properly centered on wider screens, capped at a comfortable reading width with responsive margins that adapt automatically to the device.
