PDFiles 2.0 is the biggest scanner update so far. New scanner workflow: • Detect multiple documents in one camera image • Tap only the documents you want to include • Use the tap order as the final PDF page order • Keep the camera open and collect pages in a scan stack • Save the full stack as one PDF when you are done For longer scans: • Scan multi-page PDFs without an artificial 25-page limit • Reorder pages before saving • See how many pages are already collected For books, notes and two-page spreads: • Split double pages into separate PDF pages • Move or delete the divider line before saving • Page numbers update automatically after splits For precise results: • Adjust document corners and edges manually • Use a larger magnifier for accurate corner placement • Add a manual scan area when automatic detection misses a page • Camera preview and detection alignment are improved Fixed: • Sharing a selected document no longer opens an empty share sheet PDFiles still processes scans locally on device using iOS and Apple frameworks. No account or cloud upload is required.

We listened to our early users and implemented the following improvements: • Improved onboarding experience • Target folders now open directly in the Files app • PDF merge now respects the order in which files are selected • Minor improvements and bug fixes Thank you for helping PDFiles grow.
