InkeyTool helps you rewrite short messages, issue descriptions, and review comments without a trip to a separate chat window. Select editable text in a supported Mac app, open Services > InkeyTool, and choose a saved action. SAVE THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU REPEAT Create an action for the way you write: fix grammar, shorten a message, translate to English, or preserve technical terms. Customize the prompt and provider, then reuse the action. Review AI results before sending. START WITH ONE REWRITE The guided setup helps you choose a provider and try a sample message before configuring a shortcut. Save the Polish English action, then use it through macOS Services. CHOOSE YOUR AI • Apple Intelligence: on-device processing on eligible Macs running macOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence enabled and its model available. • Claude, DeepSeek, Kimi, Grok, Mistral, OpenAI, and Gemini: connect your own API key. API usage is billed separately by your provider; a chat subscription does not include API access. • Ollama: connect a running Ollama server and an installed model. A local endpoint keeps processing on your Mac; a remote endpoint sends text to that server. KNOW WHAT IS PROCESSED The App Store version uses macOS Services for selected text and does not require Accessibility or screen-recording permission. Optional rules can use clipboard text or files in folders you authorize. Input goes to the provider configured for the action. Local diagnostic logs may contain text previews; debug logging can include prompts and results. See the privacy policy for details. BEFORE YOU BUY • Requires macOS 14 or later. The Apple Intelligence provider has additional requirements described above. • Configure a provider before running AI actions.
