Your Week, redesigned
Your weekly recap now looks like a record sleeve. Side A is your listening, Side B is your logging. Tap any spot on the record clock to see what you played that hour, see your top tracks sized by plays, and find the friends whose taste matched yours. Every row has a next step: open the song, log it, open the artist, or jump to that day’s logs.
Edit from the top of a track
A pencil next to your rating opens your log, so you no longer have to scroll to the bottom to change it. If you’re the only one who has rated a track, it now shows your rating instead of “Be the first to rate.”
Also in this update
• Rating a song from the Now Playing card now shows “Place in your Top Tracks” right away
• Bold and italic in your reviews show up properly on your weekly story, without the asterisks
• Pulling to refresh the Artists tab no longer empties it, and a bad connection keeps what’s on screen
• Genre colors in Your Week stay the same every time you open it
• Top artists in Your Week now show their photos
• Removed the empty “Vibrato Picks” cards from track pages

Find your friends
Add your phone number to see which of your contacts are already on Vibrato, follow them in one tap, and invite everyone else. Your number is never shown on your profile, and you can remove it any time in Settings. (US numbers for now.)
An inbox with something to say
Notifications now tell you what actually happened: what a friend commented, how they rated it, who followed you (with a Follow back button), and your weekly snapshot at a glance. Older weeks fold into a single row.
Logged it too
When someone you follow logs, rates or reviews an album or track you've already logged, you'll hear about it, so you can see how your ratings compare.
Who just joined
When someone new joins and you already follow people who follow them, we'll let you know.
Taste matches with friends
Share listening with friends is now on by default, so your weekly snapshot can show the artists you share with friends. Only people who follow you back see it, and you can switch it off in Settings.
Also in this update
• New albums show their real track names on release night
• Featured artists on a track open the right artist page
• "Match this track" opens instantly from the Now Playing card
• Your Library shows your profile photo
• Fixed a crash that could happen right after your phone restarts
1.3.0 1d ago
Bug fix: the Now Playing card on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island could get stuck on the first song after it appeared by itself. It now moves on with your music, song after song.
1.2.9 4d ago
Setting up Spotify, TIDAL or Deezer is now much simpler.
• One sign-in. Connect Last.fm and link Spotify in the same window, so you only type your Last.fm password once.
• New to Last.fm? Create your free account right from setup. We'll walk you through the email confirmation step.
• Rate what's playing. Press play in Spotify, come back to Vibrato, and the song you're listening to appears so you can rate it on the spot.
• Can't find a match? Search opens with the song already filled in.
• Clearer status. If your plays aren't coming through yet, Vibrato tells you what's most likely missing.
Plus bug fixes and performance improvements.
1.2.8 5d ago
• A new Weekly Snapshot story. Your week now plays as a set of poster-style slides: your top artist, your track of the week, a deep dive into an album, your listening clock and more. Share any slide to Instagram Stories or Messages.
• Tap the big album card on Your Week to open your story.
• Say why. When you give a song a really high or really low rating from the Lock Screen, Vibrato can remind you that evening to add a few words about it.
• Fixed: tapping the Lock Screen card again no longer clears a review you'd already written.
• New here? The artists you pick when you sign up now personalize Discover straight away, and your first ratings start from your favorites.
• Tags: the tag picker now lists the artists you've logged, and tells you why when there's nothing to show.
• Steadier loading: screens no longer get stuck loading forever on a bad connection.
1.2.7 6d ago
• Weekly Snapshot, rebuilt: your week now leads with what you played. Depending on your week, it can include your top tracks, track of the week, a listening clock, artists new to you, a deep dive, and songs you played but haven't logged yet, which you can log right from the story. Weeks where you only listened get a snapshot too.
• Your Week: switch to This week to see the week so far.
• Taste matches: turn on Share listening with friends in Privacy to see which friends' listening lines up with yours. It's opt-in on both sides.
• Share any slide: every Weekly Snapshot and Wrapped slide has a share button. Post it to Instagram Stories with your profile link ready for the Link sticker, share it anywhere, or save it to Photos.
• Say why: after you rate a song very high or very low from the Lock Screen card, Vibrato sends one gentle evening reminder to add a few words about it.
• A head start for new members: the artists, albums and songs you pick for your Spotlight now shape Discover right away.
• Now Playing: better at picking the album you're actually playing and the right version of songs with featured artists, and logs credit every artist. The Apple Music card keeps up after longer pauses.
• Tags: you can now tag your artist logs.
• Fixes: an artist page's See all no longer freezes the app. Friends Are Listening no longer counts plays twice, and Apple Music now counts every replay of a song, not just the first. Discover review cards show the artist instead of "Unknown Artist", and Retry works again. Tapping the Lock Screen card no longer erases a review. Fixed screens that could get stuck loading.
1.2.6 Oct 19
• Relisten count: the Now Playing card now shows how many times you've come back to a song, right on the relisten button.
• Clear: changed your mind? Tap Clear on the Now Playing card to remove the rating and log for that listen. Your heart and earlier logs stay put.
• Delete activity: long-press one of your own album or track activities in the feed to remove it. Your rating and log stay in your diary.
• The rating number now sits right next to the stars, and the stars are a little more compact.
1.2.5 Oct 9
Logging albums is faster and more reliable.
• Favorite Tracks now loads every time you log an album. No more "Couldn't load this edition's tracks yet."
• The log sheet shows your album's editions and tracklist right away, instead of "No tracks found" while it loads.
• Album pages show the full release date and the album's original release year, and logs use that original year.
• Now Playing comes back after you turn it off and on again, and the Last.fm setup remembers when it's already working.
1.2.3 Oct 7
• Opened a Vibrato link before signing up? It now waits until your account is set up, then takes you straight there.
• Chose Spotify, TIDAL or Deezer during setup? Head straight into the app, and connect your listening through Last.fm whenever you're ready in Settings.
1.2.2 Oct 5
• TIDAL and Deezer listeners can now bring in their listening through Last.fm, just like Spotify.
• Ratings save instantly, even right after you open the app.
• Search for an album by its exact title and the one you mean comes first. Try "The Dark Side of the Moon."
• Album years are now correct everywhere. Some albums showed a year early.
• Tap anywhere on a People search result to open their profile.
• Someone else's profile no longer briefly shows your name while it loads.
1.2.1 Oct 3
Find your friends on Vibrato
• See which of your contacts are already here, and follow them in a tap.
• "Suggested for you" shows people your friends follow.
• Add your phone number so friends who have it can find you.
• Get a heads-up when someone from your contacts joins.
Just getting started? A new "Rate albums you know" card on Discover helps you rate a few albums you've heard, so your recommendations fit your taste sooner.
Also in this update
• Ratings made with the star button on an album page now save reliably.
• Now Playing stays up to date more reliably in the background.
• Smaller fixes and polish throughout.
1.2.0 Sep 30
Songs for you — 12 tracks you haven't played, drawn from artists you love and albums you've seeded, capped at 2 per artist, each carrying a reason
Because you played ‹artist› — tracks near what you've had on repeat. It only appears when that day's seed artist has similarity data, so it'll be absent some days by design.
Spotlight track picks also became first-class: they now seed your taste profile and resolve to their parent artist and album.
Fixes include:
Browse by Genre counts were counting about an eighth of your library — they ignored every track you'd logged. The same fix repairs the genre filter on Library → Songs, which previously matched no tracks at all.
Ratings set from the Live Activity no longer revert when a later refresh lands.
Share links opened on a cold launch no longer drop you on the default screen.
Share links and the site now point at the App Store rather than the old beta host.
1.1.0 Sep 28
Smarter recommendations on Discover — new "For you," "Because you played," and "More like your 5 star" picks that get better the more you log.
Fixed a few screens that could get stuck loading, and some missing artist photos.
