Item Types — give an item a type once, with a price and a part number, and every item of that type carries it. Change the price once and every one of them updates. Takeoff & Totals counts each type and adds up the numbers for the whole drawing or just the part you've selected, and copies out as a spreadsheet. Lines can be priced too, so a run of cable is a line on the bid alongside the fixtures. Junctions — split a line and branch off it. Delete the junction and the line joins back up. Mac: right-click works again. Context menus on nodes, connections and the canvas were being swallowed before they could open — that's fixed, along with waypoints that now stay on the curve when you add them. iPad: Cut, Copy, Delete and Duplicate now wake up when you select something, and the cursor stays where you put it when editing a field. If the app ever stops responding, it now records what happened — Help > Freeze Reports.

You asked; you were right. This update is built around feedback from a customer who tests with one hand and an on-screen keyboard — thank you, you know who you are. • Every command now has a button. A complete menu — File, Edit, View, Arrange, Tools, Help — so nothing requires a keyboard. • With a hardware keyboard, all documented shortcuts now work on iPad (previously most were Mac-only). • Double-tap to edit a node is reliable, and Edit Text is in the long-press menu as a fallback. • Card badges can be added again, the properties panel no longer freezes, and locked nodes visibly say so instead of silently ignoring you. • Grid snapping lines up with the visible grid, and Show Grid has its own button. • The Keyboard Shortcuts reference, About, and Support are now in the app. • Clicking away mid-edit keeps your text instead of discarding it.

Fixed: saving over a file opened from the Files app no longer fails with a permissions error. Edit and hit Save — it just works now, in any folder.

This update improves how FlowchartDesigner handles saved AI provider API keys in the iOS Keychain. • Fixed an issue that could cause iOS to repeatedly request your passcode after FlowchartDesigner was reinstalled or updated. • Added a one-click "Reset Stored Key" option in Settings → AI Providers that clears stale credentials and lets you re-save your API key without leaving the app. • Added clear in-app recovery instructions for the rare cases where a manual reset is needed. Your saved flowcharts and settings are unaffected by this update.
