For millennia, nanobots gave humans the power to create worlds, limited only by their imagination. At least, this was true for the lucky few who were Creators instead of Followers. You are just a humble starship captain. On a routine visit to a neighborhood of decadent worlds, you suddenly hear death and destruction. The Creators have lost control of their creations!
Nano Empire 2 is an incremental sandbox text adventure, featuring 20 handcrafted worlds where dreams have turned into nightmares. Endless beach parties suddenly have a leviathan problem. Crystal automata rise up against the Queen of Light. A rogue nanobot factory produces strangely beautiful horrors. A royal family of sentient trees has forgotten how to reproduce. There are also vampires and inverted merpeople. And of course, all these factions are at war...
Without nanobots meeting everyone's needs automatically, ship captains like you are about to become the most important people in the galaxy. Transport resources to populations who desperately need them, take sides in wars or profit from both sides, befriend eccentric creatures, grow your fleet, and maybe even research a way to undo the damage. Every world has a dramatically different vision for the future of civilization, and your choices will determine which one is successful.
You don't need to have played Nano Empire 1 to enjoy this game, but returning players will notice many recurring characters...
