Understand tonight’s sky • See moon phase, moonlight, astronomical twilight, and hours of darkness together • Plan around sunset and sunrise • Discover nearby recommended spots and upcoming astronomy events Find a place to observe • Explore locations by map, search, category, distance, and Bortle class • Browse observatories, planetariums, dark-sky locations, and viewpoints • Save favorites and open driving directions in Apple Maps Keep an observing log • Save the visit date, rating, sky condition, objects seen, notes, and an optional photo • Revisit your history, badges, and country statistics • Export and import a portable JSON backup Plan the next night • Save a date and notes for each observing location • Schedule a reminder two hours before the plan • Keep upcoming plans organized privately on your device Premium Choose monthly, annual, or lifetime access. Premium includes saved observing plans and reminders, advanced statistics, and complete visit history. Monthly and annual plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase. The price and period shown on Apple's purchase confirmation screen apply. Privacy No account, advertising, or third-party analytics SDK is required. Favorites, visit logs, photos, and observing plans remain on your device and are not uploaded to a Starlocus server. Location is used while the app is open only to find nearby spots and calculate distances.
