New: set the time as well as the date when you edit "Date Added", so a record sits exactly where you want it in date-added order. Crates now fit the screen on tablets held upright, and crate dividers show how many records are in their section. Also: records with no artwork show the vinyl placeholder instead of a blank square, and a short intro to Connections for anyone who hasn't found it yet.

New: Connections. Groovv now shows who made your records - musicians, producers, engineers, studios - and how your records connect. Tap a name to see everything of theirs you own, and find this week's connection in "Stats". Pro: put a photo of your own on the front of a crate. Also: flip the order inside each shelf on the "Shelf" sort, a better record page on tablets, the value now says how many records are ungraded, and the pressing picker keeps its Add button on screen.

New: search ignores accents, spaces and punctuation, so "motorhead" finds Motörhead and "acdc" finds AC/DC. Search and cover scans also find limited and one-off pressings that Discogs doesn't list under an album. Wrong match from a cover scan? Tap "Not it?" to scan the back or the label instead. Also: edit a record's Date Added, the Shelf sort remembers your order inside each shelf, tags in the filters follow your own order, and crate view starts from the front after a new sort or search.

New: add records to your own Discogs from Groovv. Tap "Add to my Discogs" after an add, or turn on "Add to Discogs too" in Settings for every new record and want. Groovv only adds, never edits or deletes anything on Discogs. Pro: add a whole selection to a crate at once. Also: dividers on the Date Added sort, and search opens on the record that matched. Fixed: the activity heatmap and streaks after the clock change, and added dates showing the wrong day.

Discogs Sync now runs on Groovv's servers. It's faster, it keeps going if you close the app, and records you re-add on Discogs keep their tags and plays. If a sync would remove a lot, it asks first, and when it's done you see what arrived. New: lock your collection in Settings to make it read-only on that device, handy when you lend your phone or iPad. Also: clear a purchase price, and a smoother value chart. Fixed: messages that wouldn't go away and a crowded Collection header.

Covers you add yourself now show everywhere: Recent Spins, Most Played, Time to Rediscover and the stats cards, not just the Collection tab. Big collections on collector profiles load in a flash: records arrive already sorted and page in as you scroll, so a 6,000-record crate no longer reshuffles. The Collectors tab, Pulse, search and follower lists are quicker too. Also fixed: the Profile tab claiming no internet on a working connection, and two crashes from double-tapping Back or Close.

Scan a barcode and pick the exact pressing: the result opens on the version from your region, with the others one tap away. Barcode results now list every pressing Discogs knows, not just the first one someone added. New collectors get a quicker start: a two-slide welcome, the Discogs question up front, a first-run checklist and a day-two note on what your collection is worth. Plus an offline strip, missing covers that fill in on their own, faster collector profiles and stability fixes.

Spin the Crate now lives on the Collection tab: shake your phone to spin what is on screen, or hold a crate and choose Spin this crate. Hold a crate for its actions and reorder crates with a wobble, like app icons. A big speed pass: your collection loads with half the data, record pages open instantly, a logged play counts straight away, Stats and batch tagging are quicker, CSV export no longer freezes. Plus clearer offline messages, Undo on wantlist swipes, new avatars and stability fixes.

Your collection, in crates. The new Gallery view sorts your records into crates by genre, plus one big All Records crate. Tap a crate to flick through it. Pro collectors can rename crates, pin a front cover, hide crates and build hand-picked ones. Your share page and collector profiles get the gallery too. Also new: change a record's pressing from its page (handy when a scan picked the wrong one), remove a custom cover, a tidier sort menu, Collectors ranked by taste match, and stability fixes.

Two upgrades straight from collector feedback: reinstall a cartridge (or any gear) from your history and it keeps the play time already logged on it, and the new Artist · Year sort files each artist's records in release order - perfect for shelf-style browsing. Also new: a "how this value is calculated" link on your stats, an FAQ link in Settings, and a batch of stability fixes.

Show off your latest pickup! New share cards turn any record into a beautiful image for Instagram Stories or TikTok - pick a colour, use your own photo, add a note, then share or save. The record crate got a big upgrade too: flick through your collection with real momentum, riffle a bunch with a big swipe, and tap divider tabs to jump. Collector profiles now open in crate view with dividers and a Jump button. Plus fixes for sharing offline and crate view selection.

Crate view leveled up: tap a divider tab peeking out of the stack to jump straight to it, or use the new Jump button from anywhere in the crate. Also in this update: a much tougher Discogs sync for large collections (interrupted syncs pick up where the last one left off), compilations now sort properly (Now 2 before Now 10), tag renames and deletes apply instantly with tags listed A-Z, and a round of crash fixes across the app.

Select multiple records at once: press and hold to batch tag, untag or remove. Filters grew up too - filter by genre, styles are A-Z, and sections fold away. Also new: your Discogs folders sync in as shelves, Discogs custom fields appear on each record, search now covers notes, fields and tags, rename your tags, your condition photos join the record gallery, matrix/runout per copy, play-time estimates in the gear log, and a round of stability fixes.

The Collection Report is here: a polished PDF appraisal of your whole collection with values, condition and photos - ready for insurance or simply for pride of place on the coffee table. Export your condition photos in one batch too. Also new: document a record's condition with photos and a full grading history, keep multiple copies of the same pressing, rank your wantlist by priority, sort followers by taste match, estimated values in CSV export, easier tag management and stability fixes.

Shelf view sorts your collection by your own tags, so the app matches your real shelves. Drag your tags into the order they sit in the room, and records with several tags file under their highest shelf. Crate dividers mark each section as you scroll. Also new: Discogs artwork galleries on every record page, media and sleeve condition filters, Generic and None sleeve grades, a clearer Activity section, record label avatars and much faster collector profiles.

Your records now show real market values. Estimates come from actual Discogs sales for each record's condition, not just the cheapest listing. See each record's value on its page, watch it update when you regrade, and get a collection total that adds up record by record. Also new: a smarter grading assistant with the full Goldmine scale, collection filters with shareable views and filtered CSV export (Pro), sharper scanning, social polish and bug fixes.

Fixed: Discogs import was silently skipping records when Discogs didn't have a release year on file. This affected most collections to some degree - tap Resync after updating to recover any missing records. Fixed: Listening Stats now uses tracklist data to correctly count plays logged before the stats feature shipped. Fixed: Listening Stats now updates instantly after adding or deleting a play (no more restart needed). Improved: Logging a historical play now lets you pick the exact time, not just the date.

Two new Dashboard sections: Listening Stats (most-played artist & record, total listening time) and Gear (track cartridge/needle/belt installs).
