NEW: Face ID app lock — require Face ID or Touch ID to open the app on your device, with your passcode as a fallback. Booking requests now arrive as notifications you can approve or decline from the banner, opening straight to the request. Scrolling is properly locked to the vertical axis, so pages no longer drift or bounce sideways. Plus a set of iPad layout fixes: the calendar header, the messages list and the collapsed sidebar all lay out correctly at tablet sizes.

NEW: a home-screen widget — today's lessons at a glance, with a next-lesson countdown for staff and the next lesson plus balance for parents. The app now opens straight to your day (instant start from a saved snapshot), shows an unread badge on the icon, and adds home-screen shortcuts for New Lesson, Attendance and Invoices. Gentle haptics confirm completed actions, a clear banner appears when you're offline, links in messages open on the right page, and the white launch flash is gone.

Notifications now arrive properly — lesson changes, payments and messages, for staff and parents alike. Links in LessonLoop emails open straight in the app on the right page. Scheduling gets sharper: tap any lesson for an at-a-glance details card — students, teacher, time and join link — with attendance and editing one tap away.
