Welcome to The Spinner's Keep – the dedicated digital assistant for tarantula hobbyists, arachnid enthusiasts, and invertebrate keepers.
Whether you are just starting with your first jumping spider or managing a massive collection of Old World tarantulas, keeping accurate records is vital for the health and success of your specimens. The Spinner's Keep replaces scattered notebooks and complex spreadsheets with a clean, mobile-friendly interface designed specifically for the needs of the hobby.
Key Features:
Organize Your Collection: Create detailed profiles for every spider in your keep. Record scientific names, common names, gender, acquisition dates, and specific enclosure details.
Feeding Tracker: Never lose track of a schedule again. Log every feeding event, including the type of prey, size, and whether the meal was accepted or refused.
Molt Monitoring: Track the growth and development of your arachnids. Log molt dates to predict future cycles and ensure your spiders are growing healthy and strong.
Maintenance & Care: Keep notes on substrate changes, water refills, and general enclosure maintenance.
Visual History: Upload photos to document color changes and growth spurts over time.
Data at a Glance: Quickly view the last time a specific spider ate or molted right from the dashboard.
Personality-Driven Care: Spiders aren't just specimens; they have character! Assign personality tags to your pets—from the "Calm" to the "Weird", and everything in-between. The app adjusts its care reminders with a touch of humor to match, reminding you to "Watch your fingers!" for the defensive ones or "Check for movement" for your shy species.
Bitsy's Adventure: Need a break from tank maintenance? Jump into Bitsy's Adventure, a charming built-in mini-game. Guide Bitsy, our 8-legged mascot, through a web of challenges, collect treats and avoid water drops in this retro styled game. It’s a lighthearted way to celebrate the hobby we love.
Why Use The Spinner's Keep?
As a collection grows, it becomes difficult to remember who is in pre-molt, who refused their last cricket, or who is due for a rehousing. The Spinner's Keep centralizes this data, helping you spot health trends early and ensuring no specimen is overlooked.
Perfect For:
Tarantula Keepers (Theraphosidae)
Jumping Spider Enthusiasts (Salticidae)
Any invertebrate hobbyist looking to get organized.
Download The Spinner's Keep today and take the guesswork out of arachnid care!
