Wave Mobile 1.3.1 is a larger polish release focused on making the rider, driver, and partner experience smoother from sign-up through active rides. This release adds a cleaner ride chat experience for both riders and drivers. Ride-specific chat is now available only when there is an active or upcoming ride, and it now lives in the side menu instead of cluttering the bottom tab bar. We also updated the chat and message icons so ride chat and general messages are easier to tell apart. We also improved the partner and driver application flow. The mobile app now uses the canonical stepped application path, with clearer sections for personal details, service capabilities, vehicle information, documents, consents, referral details, payment, and final review. Vehicle selection, document upload, and application recovery have been tightened up so applicants can move through onboarding with fewer dead ends. Membership and checkout flows were improved as well. Rider, partner, and corporate payment screens now handle pricing and session recovery more reliably, including better support for family membership paths and snapshot pricing in Stripe PaymentSheet. Corporate checkout and onboarding upload handling were also cleaned up. Authentication and onboarding received several stability improvements. The app now validates contact details more clearly, handles location prompts at a better point in the flow, improves sign-in recovery paths, and smooths out the email verification and onboarding screens. For active ride workflows, this release continues the secure mobile ride chat rollout and improves rider/driver ride detail behavior around trip-specific communication. It also includes proof-of-delivery and QA improvements used to validate driver, rider, and corporate flows more consistently. Behind the scenes, we added stronger mobile E2E coverage with Maestro for rider, driver, corporate, and proof-of- delivery flows, improved mobile build configuration, and added a root-level mobile launch shortcut for development. Overall, 1.3.1 makes the app feel cleaner, more contextual, and more reliable across onboarding, checkout, ride communication, and daily driver/rider use.
