Daily readings The Church's readings are now here for every day of the year, not only Sunday, with the feasts and memorials of the calendar. Today's readings sit on your home screen, and a short note on each passage tells you what it says and where it sits. A home built around prayer Home now opens on prayer. Write a few words or a full prayer from the top of the page. Quieter notifications Fewer kinds, and nothing sent late at night. Plus a clearer Prava+ page and a long list of smaller fixes.

Prava has been rebuilt around prayer and Scripture. Home now opens on the week's readings and the prayers and creeds the Church has always shared. Your circle, rebuilt. See the week your circle kept: who read, who prayed, what stopped them. History: everything you've prayed, read, and written, in order, all the way back. Your past fasts and acts live there too. Insights is now a weekly paper: your rhythm, your week, and with Prava+, a weekly essay on your walk. Fasting and Acts have been retired. Prava is now fully centered on prayer and Scripture. Your records remain in History.

The week's readings. The Scripture the Church holds each week — the appointed Sunday readings — now live alongside your verse. Read them slowly, whole or phrase by phrase, and Prava quietly keeps a record of what you've sat with. A threshold for the week. On your first open each week, Prava names the new week and its theme.

Circles can grow. Until now, a circle held four. If anyone in your circle has Prava+, it can now open to as many as twelve — same circle, same privacy. One person's Prava+ opens it for everyone. Nothing changes for circles of four. The Acts tab opens to today. Four options chosen for you each morning, and anything you're in the middle of, right up front. Carrying out an act — steps, notes, photos — is clearer at every step. Plus refinements and fixes throughout.

Minor bug fixes

This update brings something we've wanted to build for a long time. Lectio Divina — one passage of Scripture each week, prayed a little differently each day across six unhurried movements: read it, hold it, notice what stirs, reflect, pray, and rest. You don't move on each morning — you go deeper into the same reading. Prayers & Creeds — the prayers and creeds the Church has prayed for centuries, now in the app. Each one comes with a plain explanation of what it is, where it came from, and why we say it — written for your tradition. A refreshed Circle — your circle is now centered more closely on what your group is carrying together. Plus the usual round of fixes and small improvements. Thank you for being here.

A growing library of real acts — service, generosity, encouragement, mercy, and more — suggested for your actual life. Pick one, carry it out, and keep it as part of how you show up. Your circle is here. Invite up to three people you trust into a private circle and witness each other's faith — encourage one another, read Scripture together, no scorekeeping. Faith was never meant to be carried alone. A new home. The home screen has been reimagined around the day you're actually living — calmer, warmer, and built to meet you where you are. As always: no streaks, no guilt. Just showing up, honestly.

Some acts are bigger than a single moment. Now they can unfold over a few days, one step at a time — at whatever pace fits your life. There's no rush, and nothing to keep up with. Pick what speaks to you, and act on it when you're ready.

Fasting now has its own tab, and it holds more than a timer. Name what you're seeking when you begin a fast. Pray right from your fast, and those prayers stay with it. When you finish, you get a reflection on what you sought and what you prayed. And you can look back on past fasts to see what each one held. Plus small design and polish improvements throughout.

This update polishes the prayer logging experience, improves onboarding for new members, and fixes a number of bugs to make Prava feel calmer and more reliable.

Fasting comes to Prava. Choose what you're fasting from, set your hours, and let the practice take its shape. When the fast ends, we'll help you notice what it carried. Plus small refinements throughout the app.

Fixed an issue where the keyboard could cover the notes field when writing in your daily journal.

A cleaner daily journal and clearer reflections. The daily journal is now three steps instead of five. The same questions, less friction. We've refined the questions themselves too: dropped a couple that weren't earning their place, added two that better fit reflection over performance (quiet time with God, confessing to God). The AI reflections throughout the app now speak more naturally about felt presence, no more awkward "averaged 1.5" phrasing. A few quiet improvements in 2.0.2. Nothing about your data has changed.
