you want to go to that concert. you want to try that new restaurant. you want to hike runyon on saturday morning. you just don't have anyone to go with.
washedup fixes that.
real people in los angeles post real plans for things they actually want to do. hikes, concerts, comedy shows, food festivals, art nights, beach days, you name it. you browse, you join, and you show up with 3 to 8 people who wanted to do the same thing.
HOW IT WORKS
Post or join any activity: a comedy show, a hike, dinner, or a beach day. A small handful of 3-8 people comes together. A private chat opens so you can coordinate, and then you go do the thing. After the plan, photos and videos from everyone who came are collected into a shared album so you can relive the moment together.
WHY WASHEDUP IS DIFFERENT
this is not a dating app. there is no swiping. no matching based on photos. no awkward 1 on 1 coffee dates where you both pretend to be interesting for 45 minutes.
washedup is activity first. you connect with people by doing things together, not by scrolling through profiles. the activity is the equalizer. it does not matter how old you are, where you are from, or how long you have lived here. if you both want to see that show on friday, you already have something in common.
WHO USES WASHEDUP
people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond. new transplants and lifelong angelenos. introverts who need a reason to leave the house and extroverts who are tired of going alone.
hundreds of real world plans have already happened across Los Angeles. people are showing up, meeting strangers, and turning them into people they actually know.

What an amazing concept. The app came to me at a time of my life when I needed it the most. I’ve always traveled around the country and found it so easy to connect with people, for some reason I didn’t have that same experience here in the US, but finding this app was a game changer. There are so many different plans happening all the time, getting exposed to other micro communities in the city, making plans, truly connecting, making relationships, friendships. Download the app and get out there !!!
Changed everything

I was having a lot of trouble meeting people in LA. I went to meetups I’ve been on tons of app and somehow still felt really isolated and alone. After downloading this app and finally just joining something, I actually met people I talk today to day. I could not recommend it enough. If you have just moved, or feel you don’t have anyone to go with somewhere or just want to meet new people…coolest app I’ve been on.
This app changed my life!

This app made my experience moving to LA so much better. Rather than trying to coordinate with individual people on other apps or go on dates, this app makes it so easy to get together in small groups and meet people in a safe, fun, and platonic environment. I’ve made a core friend group through this app and am excited to keep building community here!!
My new go to app

Moved here from another city so trying to find fun events to go to or nice / safe people to go with was important to me. Luckily a friend introduced me to this app and there is always something fun going on so I’m never bored and the people I’ve met at the events have been so nice. I used to go to events alone and now I don’t have to!
