Until 2011, the hall of Utrecht Centraal station was home to the famous blue departure board, whose split-flap letters clattered over whenever a train changed. Blauwe Bord brings it back on your TV.
LIVE DEPARTURES
Every minute the app fetches departures from the public NS travel information API: departure time, destination, platform, train type, route and remarks such as delays or platform changes.
REAL SPLIT-FLAP LETTERS
Every row flips letter by letter, complete with sound. The board has the double layout of the original in Utrecht, with the original typefaces.
EVERY STATION
Pick any station in the Netherlands. Press Play/Pause on the Siri Remote and pick a station from the list, or search for it. The app remembers your choice.

NOT AN OFFICIAL NS APP
Blauwe Bord is made by Moxie IT and is not an official NS app; we asked NS and were given permission to publish the app. Travelling for real? Check the NS app, the NS website or the boards at the station. The board labels are in Dutch, just like the original.
