Mini Seasons tells you what's happening in nature right now: which wildflowers are opening, which birds just showed up. All grounded in real observation data from your ecological region.
Japan has tracked 72 micro-seasons for centuries. Mini Seasons adapts that tradition for North America. Fifteen ecological regions, from Pacific Northwest rainforests to the Southern Coastal Plain, each with their own set of 72 seasons named for the real natural events unfolding there.
Every season brings original ink wash artwork and a short poetic reflection. Open it, read for a minute, close it. That's the whole idea.
Your home region is free, along with the two nearest you. Explorer unlocks the rest, so you can follow any region across the continent and read back through past seasons.
