uniryd is a carpooling app for international students in the US to share rides and chat, all in one app, with no spam.
• Post rides: Offer or request rides to campus, home, groceries, or nearby.
• See the map: Browse 'Need ride' and 'Ride available' on a live map. Tap a pin to see details and message.
• Chat in-app: Message riders directly, attach a ride to the conversation, and coordinate without leaving the app.
• Nearby by default: Rides and discovery are scoped to where you are, with the option to switch to just your school anytime.
Safety & Terms:
uniryd is a platform for coordination; we do not provide transportation or guarantee rides. By using uniryd, you agree to our Community Guidelines. We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive users. Users who violate these terms will be removed.
• Get directions for a whole ride at once: tap the directions icon to route from
pickup to drop-off in your maps app, instead of one pin at a time.
• Addresses in chat are now tappable and open in your maps app. Long-press any
address to copy it.
• Tap a shared contact card to call that number directly, and Previous Rides now
has a call button for past rides.
• Read receipts are now blue when your message has been read.
• Fixed a message sometimes disappearing instead of sending when you replied
straight from a notification.
• Fixed the Chats list not bumping a conversation to the top after you sent a message.
• Fixes to ride reminders, notification settings, and when a finished ride disappears.
