Sidetrip is a trip planner built for people who want their itinerary with them, not scattered across notes apps, browser tabs, and group chats.
# EXPERIENCE YOUR TRIP
Once your itinerary is in the app, Sidetrip organises it into parts, days, and stops. Each day shows your stops on a map with a colour-coded route, so you always know where you are in the plan and what comes next. Tap any stop to see its details — address, opening hours, cost, website — and navigate directly from the app.
As you travel, mark stops as in progress, visited, or skipped. The day view tracks how many stops you have completed so you can see your progress at a glance.
With Sidetrip Pro, use Sidetrip in CarPlay to browse trips, open days, view stops, and start navigation from your car display. Choose Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze for CarPlay navigation.
With Sidetrip Pro, the Apple Watch companion keeps your itinerary on your wrist. Browse trips, parts, days, stops, accommodations, and transportation, track day progress, and update visit status without taking out your phone. The Watch app syncs through iCloud and can show downloaded trips offline.
Flights, trains, buses, ferries, and car rentals are all supported. Your transportation and accommodation bookings sit in the trip overview, one tap away whenever you need a confirmation number or check-in time.
Add personal notes to any stop, accommodation, or transportation booking. Notes sync across all your devices via iCloud.
Sidetrip includes a ready-made prompt for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any AI assistant. Plan your trip, then import the result. With Apple Intelligence, generate an itinerary directly in Sidetrip: on-device on iOS 26/macOS 26, or exclusively through Apple Private Cloud Compute on iOS 27/macOS 27 or later. PCC sends your prompt and required context to Apple for processing, needs internet, and has an Apple daily quota that Pro does not increase or remove. Failures are shown without silently switching models or processing locations. Generation remains available to Free and Pro users within their trip limits.

Unlimited trips — the free tier includes one trip. Pro removes that limit so you can plan as many past, present, and future adventures as you like.
AI assistant — rename a day, update a stop description, or add a dinner stop inside the trip or day view. Requires Pro and Apple Intelligence on iOS 26/macOS 26 or later. Always runs on-device, including on OS 27+, without using PCC or its quota.
Trip sharing — share any trip with travel companions via iCloud. Everyone sees the same itinerary and any edits or notes sync in real time. Anyone can accept a shared trip; a Pro subscription is required to create and send one.
CarPlay — browse unarchived trips, review day stops, and start navigation from your vehicle's CarPlay display. Requires Pro.
