Scale a recipe and every ingredient follows. Change a batch from two loaves to seven and the flour, the butter, the yeast, and the cost all move with it. No mental arithmetic at six in the morning.
RECIPES THAT SCALE
Enter a recipe once. Adjust the batch size whenever you bake it, and CanBake recalculates every ingredient and the cost per unit. Group ingredients into stages like poolish, dough, and filling, and reference one recipe from another when a component is shared.
AN INGREDIENT LIBRARY THAT KNOWS WHAT THINGS COST
Record what you buy and what you paid. CanBake works out the price per gram and carries it through every recipe, so you know what a batch costs before you start rather than after. Set expiry reminders on the things that go off.
SCHEDULES AND REMINDERS
Plan what needs to be baked and when. Work backwards from a delivery time through proofs, chills, and bakes, and get reminded before each step. See the whole week at once.
YOURS, AND OFFLINE
Everything lives on your device and everything works without a connection. There is no account to create and nothing to subscribe to before you can use the app.
SYNC ONLY IF YOU WANT IT
Sign in with Google or Apple and your recipes, ingredients, schedules, and photos sync to your other devices. It is optional, it is private to you, and you can delete your account and everything synced to it from inside the app at any time. Your recipes stay on your device even then.

Share a recipe with anyone. Tap the share button on a recipe and CanBake creates a public read-only page at app.canbake.app: the recipe, its photos and steps, with batch-size scaling. No account needed to read it, and it never shows your prices, ratings, stock or schedules.
Also in this release:
- Manage a shared recipe: copy or re-share the link, show your name if you want, stop sharing at any time.
- Share links open inside CanBake, and "Add to my recipes" makes your own editable copy, photos included.
- Group weights scale with the batch size, and the recipe header now shows Share and Edit as separate buttons.
- Fixes for opening a shared recipe when the app was closed, and for the web app when it is open in more than one tab.
