The weather data never loads
• IFR Area Chart detail when you zoom in on IFR Low
• Improved map controls and chart fixes
1.3.11 1d ago
MagentaLine 1.3.10
- Weather, NOTAM and TFR layers now clearly show when a data source is unavailable instead of appearing empty
- Stability improvements
1.3.10 3d ago
• Storm cells: on the Weather Radar and Echo Tops layers, arrows show where each storm is heading and how fast, echo tops are labelled (430 = 43,000 ft), and storms with rotation or severe hail are ringed
• Stability improvements
1.3.9 4d ago
• NOTAM briefings now cover departure, destination and alternate — and say so when they can't load, instead of showing "No NOTAMs"
• US and convective SIGMETs added; loaded METARs stay when a refresh fails
• Correct winds-aloft altitudes at high-elevation airports
• Traffic shows target age, reports feed errors, never hides an alert
• Approach plates: optional early download of the next cycle, switched on its effective date
• Airports page updates on every map tap
1.3.8 6d ago
• Traffic: internet ADS-B keeps flowing after you lock the device or switch apps
• Traffic: zoom out and see aircraft across the whole map, thinned so it stays readable
• Traffic: tapping a target shows its aircraft type (Light, Large, Heavy, Rotorcraft…)
• Visibility layer: clear areas (10+ SM) are no longer painted green
• Documents: the list updates itself when an upload finishes
• Fixed a crash when leaving the route briefing while it was still loading
1.3.7 Sep 3
Documents is here.
• Keep POHs, checklists, and handouts in folders and subfolders. PDFs and images open offline once added.
• Share a folder or a single document by link. Recipients always see your latest version — including files you add later — and you can stop sharing at any time.
• Rename, move, and replace documents and folders; replacing keeps existing shares working.
• Pin Documents to Quick Access next to Checklists, Scratchpad, and Logbook.
Also in this release:
• Sign-in: a resend-code cooldown and clearer guidance when a code doesn't arrive.
• The route panel no longer moves the map buttons, and the in-flight timer no longer overlaps the info boxes.
• Offline edits and deletes to the logbook, flight plans, and scratchpads sync more reliably.
1.3.6 Sep 3
• Fixes route navigation on flights that depart and return to the same airport — Next waypoint, ETE, and distances now track each leg instead of jumping straight to the final waypoint
• No more huge ETE values while stopped or taxiing slowly
• More reliable leg tracking when editing a route mid-flight
1.3.5 Sep 1
• Custom waypoints: touch and hold the map to save named waypoints — great for off-airport operations
• Your waypoint names work in routes and search, and sync across your devices
• Share waypoints by link or message; tapping a shared link opens MagentaLine ready to add them
• New map view for approach plate downloads — tap a state, pinch to zoom
• Easier selection of small states like DC
• Stay signed in much longer, and a stuck sign-in state now recovers with a guided one-tap re-login
• Back button and navigation fixes
1.3.4 Aug 31
Logbook 2.0:
- Import your logbook from ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, or any CSV — with preview, duplicate detection, and offline-first sync
- Track flight review and medical dates on the Currency tab with automatic expiration countdowns
- Built for big logbooks: month grouping with totals, year filters, fast scrolling, and search that totals hours by aircraft, airport, or route
Stability & polish:
- Fixed the checklist editor closing on its own while you were editing when a background sync arrived
- Fixed navigation after saving a checklist
- Fixed rare errors during background data updates and sync
- Fixed labels that could overlap or wrap vertically on narrow screens (convective outlook, nav log, map legends)
- Route panel flight stats no longer cut off fuel and time values
1.3.2 Aug 28
Scratchpad 2.0: multiple saved scratchpads with handwritten ink, ATC templates (CRAFT, ATIS, VFR flight following, pop-up IFR, holding), and offline saving that syncs across your devices.
Checklists: organize items into sections with per-section progress.
Quick Access: pin Checklists, Scratchpad, or Logbook to the navigation bar.
Plus stability fixes and performance improvements.

• Fixed: the map sometimes didn't center on your position at launch
• The data update check now covers sectional and IFR charts plus approach plates — and tells you exactly what's out of date
• Stability and reliability improvements
1.1.9 Aug 21

• Route panel action buttons now fit on narrow phone screens
• Fixed top-of-screen panels and buttons sitting under the status bar on iPhone and iPad
• Reliability improvements
1.1.5 Aug 8
• New: breadcrumb trail and a 2/5/10-minute track vector on the moving map.
• New: report fuel price corrections from any FBO card — updates reach other pilots within minutes.

• Route: tap the Route tab again to close it; long-press a route airport for Airport Info.
1.1.4 Aug 3
• Fixed an issue where the app could fail to open when started without an internet connection. It now opens directly from your saved session.
• Improved ADS-B receiver connections: receivers are recognized more reliably, an additional connection port is supported, and connection messages now explain what to check when a receiver isn't found.
• Stability and reliability improvements.
