RECIPES - SAFETY BUILT IN
Store your tested recipes with full processing parameters: jar size, headspace, processing time, and pressure. Altitude adjustments calculate automatically based on your location. The built-in safety interlock prevents assigning water bath processing to low-acid foods. Every recipe can reference its tested source (USDA, NCHFP, Ball) so you always know your formulation is verified.
BATCH LOGGING - TRACK EVERY SESSION
Log canning batches in seconds: pick a recipe, enter your jar count, and start the built-in processing timer. The timer sends a notification when processing is complete - even if the app is in the background. Record seal check results the morning after. Track produce source, cost, and batch quality for every session.
PANTRY TRACKER - YOUR LIVING INVENTORY
See exactly what you have preserved, organized by category: jams, pickles, tomatoes, vegetables, fruits, meats, and more. Tap "Use a Jar" to decrement your count as you open jars. Get low-stock alerts before you run out. See what ran out in February and plan next season accordingly.
ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT CALCULATOR
Set your altitude once in Profile. Every recipe in the app automatically shows your altitude-adjusted processing time and pressure. Water bath recipes add the required extra minutes. Pressure canning recipes show the correct PSI for your elevation. This is a food safety feature, not a convenience feature.
TESTED RECIPE COLLECTION
30+ tested recipes from USDA and NCHFP guidelines included: strawberry jam, dill pickles, crushed tomatoes, salsa, pressure-canned green beans, chicken broth, and more. Every recipe includes proper processing parameters and source attribution.
