The Strides update — walks, runs, and indoor sessions get a big upgrade. • Facing direction on the map: a compass cone shows which way you're pointed, with a live bearing readout. The cone widens when the compass is less certain, so you know how much to trust it. • Stride Photos: capture moments mid-walk without stopping the recording, pinned to your route map and gathered in a walk-by-walk album — now up to 40 photos per walk. • Camera within reach: shoot from the map, from the Active Stride bar on your Home screen, or straight from the Lock Screen. • Save to Photos: optionally keep copies of your walk photos in your own Photos library, with their locations, so they appear on your Photos map. • Scenic Sessions: photographic backdrops with a live goal ring for treadmill and other indoor activities. • Indoor Strides: track treadmill, bike, and other machine workouts with live stats. • Route trim: cut the start or end of a recorded route — distance and splits recalculate. • Edit saved Strides: adjust a walk's details after saving. • Full-screen maps: expand any route map to pan, zoom, and replay. • What's New: release notes and a look ahead, now in Settings.
