Space Station: Defender is a sci-fi tower defense game where you command the last orbital fortress against relentless waves of alien invaders. It plays fine and has a lot of potential. I’ve played it since the tutorial, it seems, and get along just fine. I hope more updates come along because it has kept my attention so far.

The game just starts and then you die and then there’s an ad but at no point are there any instructions whatsoever on what to do… Am I just supposed to figure it out on my own somehow? Is that part of the game?

I appreciate this feedback.Originally, I intended for this to be a rather difficult strategy-defender game with not much mercy for beginners. It may be a little too merciless without some basic tutorial, though.I will be implementing a tutorial in an upcoming update to the game and hope you'll update it and give it another spin.UPDATE - 07/02/2026New version 1.1 released with a full tutorial, tweak of early game level difficulty, and extra ways to acquire currency. Hope you get a chance to try it again and see what it's all about!Thank you!

The game just starts and then you die and then there’s an ad but at no point are there any instructions whatsoever on what to do… Am I just supposed to figure it out on my own somehow? Is that part of the game?

Version 2.0 is a full rebuild. Full 3D: orbit your station with a finger, and enemies come from every direction. A galaxy map: five galaxies, twenty sectors each, and Hard Space replays that pay 2.5x. A perk to pick after every wave, and a Workshop of fifty permanent upgrade lines. Endless Survival with a weekly tournament, a season pass, a Research Lab and modules that drop from Supply Drops. Ten enemy families, elite affixes and bosses that enrage. Daily missions, win streaks, a commander rank and a mining bay that works while you are away. Your Game Center achievements and leaderboards carry over.
