Hawk is now available in 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified). Set your preferred language any time in Settings → About → App Language — independent of your phone's system language. Every screen, alert, and safety disclosure has been fully translated, including the Claim Kit export and Incident Assist workflow.

Voice Notes & Damage Photos Record your account of what happened — in your own words. Capture witness statements too. Everything stays privately on your device, never uploaded anywhere. Photograph vehicle damage directly from Incident Assist. Location metadata is automatically stripped from every image before it's saved. Evidence packages now include voice recordings and damage photos, with individual privacy toggles in Claim Kit.

The MRVL Shop is open. We've added a Recommended Gear section curated by us — windscreen mounts, MagSafe car chargers, dash cams for the rear of your car, external SSDs, cabin audio mics, and more. Tap any item to view it on Amazon. Every product is one we'd buy ourselves. Honest rear-cam pairing: Hawk records the front. For rear coverage we now recommend the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 (~£100) — independent rear recording is more resilient than one device trying to cover both directions. Closer to your phone: • Smoother performance under low memory pressure • Improved evidence integrity check (faster verification on open) • GPS track now resets cleanly per segment so each clip's route is accurate • Wi-Fi only sync now works correctly (previously silently blocked for some users) • Small UI refinements across Settings and Library

Smoother video on rough roads — cinematic stabilisation now active on all profiles. New: Speed Alert — configurable threshold triggers a haptic when you exceed your set speed. New: Trip Route Map — view the GPS route from any evidence clip (requires GPS export in profile settings). New: Clip integrity verification — evidence clips show a green shield confirming files haven't been modified since recording. Battery-aware quality — recording automatically steps down to Balanced when battery is low, so you never run out mid-journey. Apple Watch support wiring in place — companion app arriving in the next update. Under the hood: SHA-256 evidence hashing, biometric lock fails closed, lock-screen speed removed for privacy.

v2.1.1 — Voice Save Commands + Stability • NEW (Pro): Say "save clip" or "hawk save" while driving to lock evidence hands-free — no screen taps needed. Uses on-device speech recognition; no audio leaves your device. • Fixed a rare background thread crash in the weekly drive report notification scheduler (iOS 18.3)

v2.1.0 — Security & Community Update • Community tab rebuilt as a fully native screen with live feature vote counts — no more web view • Redact GPS coordinates when sharing exported evidence reports • Siri Shortcuts tier check hardened against App Group spoofing • Wi-Fi-only sync preference now strictly enforced • Biometric lock starts a 60-second countdown on app switch (not just full background) • Evidence notes capped at 500 characters with live counter

Evidence Export: Share a claim-ready PDF report with GPS, speed, and incident data. Incident Backup: Hawk now immediately syncs incident clips to iCloud when triggered (Pro). CarPlay: See live recording status and save clips from your dashboard. Trip Coaching: Get a driver safety score with tips after every trip (Pro). Dedicated Device Setup: Step-by-step guide to turn a spare iPhone into a dashcam. Driver Safety Mode: Dual-camera recording now displays a branded indicator on screen.
