A token count says what you spent. TokenWatch shows how full your Claude and Codex windows are now, how fast you are filling them, and warns you before you hit one. A token count tells you what you already spent. TokenWatch tells you how much of your limit is left, and roughly when you will hit it. Local logs know what you used. They do not know what your plan allows. TokenWatch reads the quota side as well: the 5-hour session window on your Claude.ai account, and the rate-limit windows Codex CLI publishes for itself. That is the number that decides when you get stopped. You do not have to ask for it, either. The percentage sits in your menu bar and changes colour as the window fills, so one glance is the whole check. The warning arrives at your own threshold, while there is still room to finish what you are doing. ONE LIMIT, SEVERAL PLACES . claude.ai, Claude Code and Claude Desktop draw on the same session limit and the same weekly limit. Anthropic documents this . TokenWatch shows it on one dial, with what Claude Code has put into the window you are in right now . Measured on one Max account over a month, Claude Code drove almost all of the movement in that window. Your own mix will be different . A heavy Claude Code run can take an hour or two to show up, because the server's own figure lags the work. The app says so rather than hiding it LIVE SESSION TRACKING . Colour-coded gauge in the menu bar: green, amber, red, on a fixed scale . Burn rate, measured from your own recent readings: "At this rate: 1h 47m to limit" . Countdown to the next reset, and a notification when it opens again . The weekly limit projected forward, so you know the day it runs out at this pace WEEKLY MODEL LIMITS . Every model Anthropic reports a weekly limit for gets its own meter and its own reset, under the name the API gives it . How much of each weekly allowance is gone, in one view CODEX CLI . Whichever rate-limit windows Codex CLI publishes, with reset countdowns . Cache-hit ratio, daily sessions and per-project token breakdown, from your own sessions . Local parser, no API key, no network calls . Dual-agent menu bar shows Claude Code and Codex side by side as branded pills CLAUDE CODE ANALYTICS . Token breakdown by model, cache reads and writes included: often 95% of traffic . Sessions, active days and message counts over 7, 14 or 30 days, or all time . Read from your own machine, no admin key, no network calls DESKTOP WIDGETS . Small, medium and large, for the desktop and Notification Center . Each widget takes the agent it watches from its own setting 30-DAY HISTORY . Daily chart, week-over-week comparison, and an hourly heatmap of when you work . Kept on your Mac after the server has moved on . CSV export for Claude sessions and Codex history ALERTS . Your own warning and critical thresholds, 80% and 95% by default . Quiet hours, so nothing fires during meetings, sleep or focus blocks . Monthly budget alert when API cost approaches the limit you set COST TRACKING (OPTIONAL) . Add an Anthropic Admin API key for daily and monthly spend, and the models driving it . The key is stored in the macOS Keychain, never in plain text SIRI, SPOTLIGHT AND SHORTCUTS . Ask Siri: "Hey Siri, check my Claude usage" . Type "Claude usage" in Spotlight for the current percentage . Trigger a check from any Shortcuts automation PRICING . Free 7-day trial . • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

A new icon, and more accurate numbers TokenWatch has a new flat icon, sharp even at the smallest sizes in Finder and Spotlight, and its own small mark beside your reading in the menu bar. Counting and pricing fixes mean some Claude Code and Codex figures will change. Nothing was lost. Also in this release: Usage History opens faster and the popover steps aside for it; history charts give every calendar day its own bar; models of one family get their own shades; CSV dates follow your time zone; quiet hours that start or end at midnight are kept; the Admin API cost report is read in the format the API sends; VoiceOver names the menu bar item and Settings switches; and Turkish capitals and a few clipped labels are fixed.
