Great Web View Tester is a developer tool for testing web views, authentication flows, and URL redirections on iOS.
4 Testing Modes:
- ASWebAuthenticationSession — Test OAuth and login flows using Apple's secure authentication session. Configure callback URL scheme and ephemeral session mode. Capture callback URLs and authorization codes automatically.
- WKWebView — Open any URL in a fully configurable WKWebView. Toggle JavaScript, address bar, navigation bar, page title, back/forward gestures, link preview, inline media playback, non-persistent data store, and cookie clearing. Set a listen URL to automatically capture redirections.
- SFSafariViewController — Launch URLs in Safari's in-app browser with reader mode, bar collapsing, and customizable dismiss button style. Track full navigation history with redirect detection.
- External Browser — Open URLs in the device's default browser and capture the return via universal link.
Result Capture & Navigation History:
All callback URLs, redirections, and errors are displayed with parsed query parameters and timestamps. Text is selectable for easy copying. Navigation history shows each request, redirect, and final load with millisecond-precision timestamps.
