Improved the event calendar & fixed some bugs!

Discover surf events worldwide! From WSL events to local surf and film festivals to national surf tours. You can filter surf events by country, short or longboard, or type of events! So you will never miss a surf event around. You can publish that you will attend several events, that are then shown on your profile and for your mates. You can even connect with surfers from the SURFMATE community to find rides or connect when being there.

You can see and comment on your mate's surf sessions! The Social Feed is here! Additionally when you tag a mate in a session, he or she can copy all the logged infos for the session. Some bug fixes regarding black spotchecks, offline handling, better explanations and some usability improvements.

Link your mates when logging your surf session! You can now find your friends better, because you see friends of your friends. Additionally we enhanced offline session logging, camera bugs and improved the journal view.

SIGN IN Apple Sign In & Google Sign In are now available. We updated the Sign in with Apple user experience so that the app no longer asks users to provide their name or email after completing Sign in with Apple. Instead, the app now uses the name information returned by the Authentication Services framework (and stored in the user’s account metadata) to pre-fill the required Name field during first-time profile setup. This change applies only to first-time users who do not yet have a profile record, and it does not overwrite any information the user has already entered. IMPROVED SESSION LOGGING - Better usability with new category tabs. - You can now choose and adjust the preview image for your session. - Offline possible EASIER FRIEND DISCOVERY Users can now find friends more easily by sharing contacts, QR codes, or invite links. If a user chooses to share their phone number, Surfmate securely stores it so friends can discover existing Surfmate users through contact matching. Privacy-first processing: Surfmate does not upload or store a full address book. Only encrypted hashes are used for matching, and contact names remain locally on the user’s device. BUG FIXES - Fixed multiple bugs related to spot sharing and secret spots. - Fixed the Spot Check chat bubble issue. - General stability improvements. PERFORMANCE - Improved loading times across the app.
