What’s new in 1.2.10: • Messages works. Starting a conversation used to fail for almost everyone — the app could not set up encryption for your account, so the person you picked was never reachable. Your device now sets that up on sign in, and Messages opens normally. • The New Message list shows the people you are actually allowed to write to, and says so up front, instead of failing to load or letting you pick someone the send would reject. • Conversations are ordered by the most recent message, and each one shows when it was last active. The list used to sit in a fixed order with no times at all. • The 2026 national and state rankings now appear on the home screen, credited to MaxPreps. • Press coverage is open to everyone, with five preseason clips added. • Practice Plans has been removed.

What’s new in 1.2.9: • The app now matches the website. Darker surfaces throughout, a red rule under the top bar in place of the solid red band, flat cards with a hairline edge instead of raised grey ones, and the same typeface the site uses. • Fixed a crash that could close the app when opening Social. • Small text is bigger and grey text is lighter, so labels, captions and hints are readable rather than technically present. • The home screen now opens on this week’s schedule — games, practices and events, in order — and the MaxPreps card lists the team page’s latest headlines instead of a single link.

What’s new in 1.2.8: • Sign Ups are now organised by game. Each home game gets one card with every job that night needs — snack bar, merch, field setup and breakdown, and game day crew — instead of the same job spread across several lists. • Tap a job to sign up and the form opens on that role already selected. • Games where the frosh play the night before show both dates on the one card.

What’s new in 1.2.7: • Coaches on the roster-request list can now ask Pablo for a roster change. Pablo doesn’t edit the roster — it sends the request over for approval first. • New Roster Approvals queue in the admin area for reviewing those requests, with the exact change spelled out before you accept or deny it.

What’s new in 1.2.6: • Push notifications now register correctly, so team messages and order-ready alerts can reach your phone. • JV has its own game schedule instead of showing the freshman slate. • The Instagram card on the Social screen shows real posts from @mvhsfootball again instead of a placeholder.

What’s new in 1.2.3: • You can now block someone in chat. In a one-to-one conversation, blocking ends it for both sides — no further messages either way. In a group, you simply stop seeing that person’s messages while the group carries on. • You can now report a message. Press and hold any message to report it, and program admins are notified right away so a person can look at it. • Blocking someone also removes them from the list of people you can start a new chat with. • A new Blocked People screen in Settings shows everyone you’ve blocked and lets you unblock them at any time.

What’s new in 1.2.2: • You can now stop Pablo’s voice replies any time: a stop button appears in chat while he’s talking, and on the voice screen just tap anywhere. Leaving the app or locking your phone silences him too. • Program History, refreshed and fact-checked: player honors now match the official CIF-SS and Cal-Hi records, championship years are corrected, and the 2023–2025 seasons are included. • Fixed a problem that could leave you stuck at the start of the sign-up questions instead of letting you into the app. • Your clearance and paperwork cards now say when we simply have nothing on file yet, rather than reporting your documents as missing. • A more reliable schedule: games no longer fall back to an older season’s fixtures if they can’t load, and the countdown now counts minutes. • The Parent Portal opens again — it was failing to load for most people — and now shows your athlete’s card. • Links into the app now land on the right screen, and a page that can’t be found offers a way back instead of stranding you.

What’s new in 1.2.1: • Your team roster now shows everyone it should — players who’ve graduated or left no longer appear, and no current players are missing. • Spring & Summer Ball payment status now shows on your player’s profile. • Volunteer sign-ups: you can now update what you’re bringing, your phone number, or leave a note for the coordinator — without cancelling your shift and signing up again. • Ask Pablo now reads the live roster, so graduated players no longer turn up in answers.

Fixes and improvements: • Voice read-aloud is more reliable — the speaking indicator no longer gets stuck or cleared when a newer message starts playing. • Login improvements: resetting your password by email link now signs you straight in without a second password step, and the login screen tells you when to use your email address instead of a username.

Fixes an issue where setting a new password after signing in with a temporary password could get stuck on a loading spinner.
