They now go to the Advanced player; with the System player (AirPlay, or the setting that forces it), the server remuxes them, the picture copied, never re-encoded • The title page shows the position you left as soon as you leave the player, even when Jellyfin 12.1 writes it late or loses it: "Resume" starts from the right spot, with a single rewrite if the position is still missing 20 s later • Direct streaming holds through an outage: a brief Tentacle server or Jellyfin outage turned it off until the app was restarted; it now comes back as soon as the server answers • The right logo in the home banner and when the player opens: the movie's or the series', the series' on an episode; a logo that fails to load leaves room for the title • A title already watched, played again then left partway, comes back in "Continue watching", even when playback goes through the Tentacle server

• Everything plays as it is: an advanced player takes what the system player refuses — MKV, DTS, TrueHD, 10-bit HEVC, AVI, ASS and PGS subtitles. • Without a usable connection, the app switches on its own to what is on the device: Wi-Fi off, airplane mode, a network without data or a server that does not answer in time — the local catalog shows up, with the cause, even when empty, and the home comes back on its own once the server answers again • The "server is taking a break" veil no longer blames the server when the connection is missing: it only shows when the server (or Jellyfin) really is at fault, and then offers "Go offline" • Shrinking a title is possible again: the 1080p / 720p / 480p choice had gone, and it vanished entirely as soon as a file had to be repackaged for the device — that is, on almost every MKV • An account without "light mode" still keeps its titles: repackaging recompresses nothing, so it no longer asks for that right; only the quality-reduction options disappear • Never a title without sound: a track the target format refused was dropped in silence and the title announced itself ready; it is now refused, with the reason. A title whose audio the server cannot convert is no longer offered for repackaging • A pause or an abort never restarts on its own: stopped from the notification or from the list, a transfer was taken for a failure and retried five seconds later — and an app closed right after found it running again on the next launch • Two warnings stop lying: "you lose quality" no longer shows when a lossless version sits next to it, and "only one audio track is kept" disappears when the title has none • Requires a server on 1.17.2 or newer
