Flowara 2.4 — e-invoicing, easier email and partial payments NEW Peppol e-invoicing: send invoices directly to your clients over the Peppol network, the standard B2B e-invoicing system now mandatory in Belgium and being phased in across France. Works with Invoro and is included free in every plan. Flowara looks up your clients' Peppol IDs in the public Peppol Directory, so you don't have to search for them yourself. Flowara Mail Service: send invoices and estimates without setting up an email server. Just enter your name and email address; replies go straight to your own inbox. Your own SMTP server is still supported. Partial payments: record part-payments on an invoice and see how much has been paid and how much is still owed. Payment reminders automatically ask only for the remaining balance. UK bank details: add your sort code, and it appears on invoices next to your account number. IMPROVED Dates on invoices, estimates, proposals and reminder emails now use the date format you chose in Settings. Amounts in reminder emails now use your currency format from Settings. Custom invoice templates: placeholders such as client name, due date, contact details and company logo are now filled in correctly. Invoice emails now greet your client by name and include the due date. Invoices sent by Peppol are now marked as Sent automatically. Preview documents right in the app: Invoices, estimates, and proposals now open in a built-in preview instead of your system's print dialog, so you can review before sending without leaving Flowara. European currency formatting: Set your invoices to display amounts the way your region expects: symbol after the amount, comma as the decimal separator, space as the thousands separator (Settings → Company). Flexible deposit amounts: When converting an estimate to an invoice, you can now set the deposit as a fixed amount instead of only a percentage. Payment date picker: "Mark as Paid" and the invoice edit form now let you record the actual date a payment was received, instead of defaulting to today. Dual-tax support: For regions like Canada that require two separate taxes on the same line item, such as GST plus QST, Flowara now supports a second independent tax rate, shown as its own row on invoices and in tax reports. Opt-in, off by default. Variable/Constant Symbol on invoices: New opt-in setting for Czech/Slovak users so banks can automatically match incoming payments to the right invoice. More reliable subscription status: Flowara now checks your local App Store receipt to detect a cancelled subscription even without a network connection, so Pro access stays accurate. Reminder emails always have a draft ready: If AI drafting doesn't finish in time, the reminder review window now falls back to a template-filled draft instead of showing a blank message. Clearer Pro upgrade path: AI Assistant and natural-language time logging are now clearly marked as Pro features once your trial ends, with a quick upgrade prompt.

Safer, more reliable iCloud sync This update strengthens iCloud storage across the board — especially around switching devices and recovering from connection hiccups: • New: reconnecting to iCloud storage now safely detects if a database already exists there and lets you choose to use it, instead of risking an accidental overwrite • Automatic safety backup created before any storage location change • Fixed an issue where Flowara could occasionally fail to open a window after an iCloud connection error • Clearer error messages when iCloud access is briefly lost (e.g. after a restart or toggling iCloud Drive off/on) • Reduced false "already open on another device" conflicts caused by iCloud sync delays • Backup restore is now all-or-nothing, so an interrupted or corrupted backup file can no longer partially overwrite your database Thanks for using Flowara — feedback always welcome at info@bethebiz.eu.

Smart Invoice Reminder Sequences Overdue invoices now follow an automated cadence — Day 0, 3, 7, and 14. Each reminder is AI-drafted with tone that escalates based on the client's payment history. Review and approve before it sends, trigger any reminder manually at any time, and see the full history per invoice. Gantt: Drag-to-Reschedule & Critical Path Drag task bars to move or resize them directly on the timeline. Dependencies are enforced during drag. The critical path is automatically calculated and highlighted so you can see exactly which tasks will delay your project if they slip. Generate Tasks from Estimates Convert estimate line items into project tasks in one click. Choose a direct mapping or let AI break each line item into subtasks with realistic time estimates. Import Tasks, Bugs & Risks Populate your projects in bulk via CSV or Markdown paste. Tasks support full hierarchy — include a parent_title column and sub-tasks are wired up automatically. Bugs and risks have their own CSV format. A preview dialog shows parsed rows with validation warnings before anything is inserted, and the whole import runs in a single transaction so nothing is half-saved. iCloud Sync Enable iCloud in Settings → Storage to sync your database across your Macs automatically, with safe write coordination to prevent conflicts. Custom Task Statuses Define your own statuses, labels, and colors in Settings → Tasks. They appear everywhere — Kanban columns, Gantt bars, and status badges. Pomodoro Timer A Pomodoro timer is now built into Time Tracking with configurable work/break durations and system notifications. The app stays active during timers and won't be suspended by macOS App Nap. Backup as ZIP Backups now include your project files alongside the database in a single ZIP. Legacy .db backups can still be restored. Payments This Month The Dashboard now shows a Payments This Month card with a per-invoice breakdown of everything collected in the current month.
