Most weather apps tell you what's happening outside your window. Useless when you're about to drive 600 km and the mountain pass at hour 4 is a completely different story.
This one tells you the weather where you'll actually be, when you'll be there. Not now. Not at your house. At kilometer 387, at 16:30, after you've been driving for 5 hours.
How it works:
You draw a route. Pick your vehicle, because a motorcycle cares about crosswind way more than a sedan does. The app cuts your trip into segments and shows you what's coming: temperature, wind speed and direction, rain, visibility, UV. The journey timeline lays it all out end to end, fuel stops and rest areas mixed in with the weather.
The departure time slider is the real killer feature. Slide the departure time around and watch the forecast update live. That storm you were going to hit at 18:00? Gone if you leave an hour earlier. You can see this stuff immediately.
The elevation chart colors itself by weather. Blue for cold stretches. Orange where it's hot. Cyan patches for snow. You can literally see the weather change as the road climbs into the mountains.

- Rest stop and fuel station finder uses both Apple Maps and OpenStreetMap, so it actually works in rural areas
Free to use. There's a Premium tier that adds things like unlimited saved routes, toll-free routing, live wind radar overlay, and departure planning up to 7 days ahead. But honestly, the free version covers most trips.
If you drive long distances regularly, or ride a motorcycle where weather actually matters, or just want to know what you're driving into before you leave, this app was built for you.

What's new in 1.4.1:
• The dashboard got a complete overhaul. There's now an interactive journey timeline that shows your entire trip in one scrollable view: every city, every fuel stop, every weather warning, laid out by distance and arrival time.
• Long press anywhere on the map to create a route instantly. No typing required.
• Place search is way better now. It pulls from both Apple Maps and OpenStreetMap at the same time and merges the results. More places, better ranking.
• Rest stop and fuel station search now uses OpenStreetMap's global database alongside Apple Maps. Coverage is much better, especially outside major cities.
• Korean and French language support. That makes 7 languages total.
• Every checkpoint on the timeline now shows compact weather chips: wind speed, humidity, UV index, rain probability, and visibility. All the critical stuff at a glance.
