HexaBounce
Can you land it?
The ball won't stop bouncing. You won't stop spinning the sphere.
HexaBounce is a reflex game built on a single odd idea: instead of controlling the ball, you rotate the world around it. A 3D sphere made of hexagons and pentagons, the same topology as a soccer ball, hangs in front of you. The ball bounces straight up and down on its own. Your job is to drag the sphere with your finger so the ball lands on the blue faces and never on the red ones.
Sounds simple. It is, for about ten seconds.
Two ways to play
LEVEL MODE. Hand-built layouts of targets and hazards. Clear every blue face on the sphere to advance. Miss once and the sphere fills with warnings. Miss twice and the run is over. Each level has a saved replay.
ENDLESS MODE. Procedural waves that grow nastier as you go. Each wave drops a fresh ring of targets and hazards onto the sphere. Clear them all and the next wave loads in slow motion, revealing what is coming. Your combo climbs with every clean hit (one point, then two, then three, then four), and resets the moment you miss. You start with a shield that absorbs one mistake, and you get exactly one Second Chance per run if things fall apart.
What makes it different
A REAL SPHERE, NOT A GRID. The arena is a true geodesic icosahedron with 12 pentagonal faces and 20 hexagonal ones, and it subdivides into more faces as the difficulty climbs. There is no top, no bottom, no edge. The geometry is the game.
INVERSE CONTROL. You are not steering the ball. You are steering the floor underneath it. Once that clicks, the whole thing feels different from anything else in the bouncing ball genre.
MISS STAMPS. Every failed bounce leaves a small white ring stamped on the sphere until the next wave. Your mistakes stay visible. So do your near misses.
JUICE WHERE IT COUNTS. Faces pulse before contact. The ball squashes on impact. The camera breathes during wave transitions. The shield flares when it eats a hit.
Built for one hand
No tap timing. No tilt. Just drag. Play it on a bus, in a line, on a couch, any orientation, any thumb.
