A Then & Now feature allows you create a memory collage to help you process how much your kids have grown. In addition, there were several improvements made to video playback, especially when viewing from a shared link.

Refinements and bug fixes

Create and share “Then & Now” photo comparisons: - Pair any photo with another from your library - Find the perfect match using recent photos, same-date memories, or AI Search - Resize and reposition each photo - Adjust the split between images - Share your creation or save it directly to Photos Also includes interface improvements and bug fixes.

Improvements to search as well as smaller improvements and bug fixes

Whazzat 2.0 adds AI search: describe what you remember — "kids at the beach", "red car" — and find the photo without ever having tagged it. New in this version: • AI Search across your whole library, by image content • People: faces are found and grouped on your device, so you name someone once. Face data never leaves your iPhone or iPad. • Album suggestions you can confirm or skip in a review queue • Photo descriptions you can read and edit Fixes: full-res photos load when paging with the filmstrip or arrows, the text filter is back in the Library filter sheet, folder links in the info panel navigate correctly, and the keyboard no longer covers the description editor.
