Have you ever wanted to create peyote triangle earrings or other beaded triangle creations, but felt overwhelmed when getting started? We’ve made it so much easier for you! No more designing on bead graph paper or buying patterns that aren’t exactly what you want to create.
Easily create a template of triangle sizes ranging from 2-25 rows for the top and bottom and left and right earring. You even have the option of adding connector beads to connect the top and bottom triangles and letting those become a part of your design. The app automatically copies the design from the front of the earring and applies it to the back for a true 3D look!
Color theory is built right to our color palette generator. You can add a single color, complementary, split complimentary, triadic, analogous, and tetradic color palettes by just using a simple drop down menu! Add as many colors as you would like with a simple tap of the “+Add” button. It will even save the last 100 colors to the color history so you can reuse them later! We’ve made it easy to change the colors in your design: just change the color in the palette and the color in your design will update in real time! It’s really fun to play with how different colors will look in different proportions and placements in the design!
Use the View menu if you want to focus only on the front, back, left earring, or right earring. If you zoom and move and lose focus of the earrings, you can recenter the view with the reset option. Using darker colors? Change the background color in the design area so it’s easier to see your beads!
We’ve made the designing process even faster with the Reflect and Copy functions! You can choose to simply design one third of the peyote triangle and copy that section to all the other sections of the triangle. You can then use reflect to easily transfer the design to the other side, it will even mirror the designs for easy asymmetrical designs. The copy function is really helpful for intricate designs where it would be very tedious to replicate your pattern exactly.
After you’ve created your designs you can save them to the app, and they will remain on your device. The pattern and the color palette is saved to an easily scrollable menu and will be there when you’re ready to start beading! You can link multiple color palettes to the same design!
Once your design is ready for beading, simply press the “Make” button. You can choose the Continuous Back Mode if you would like to bead the triangles front to back without stopping or having to stitch the front and back together. Using the dropdown, you can decide if you want a color name, alphabet letter, or number audibly announced as your bead order. That’s right, announced, no more having to tediously follow a printed chart! Your current bead will glow so that you will always know where you are in a pattern. There are buttons to easily navigate to the next or previous sections or previous or next bead just in case you get a little overzealous with your button taps. My favorite way to navigate through a pattern is by pairing a bluetooth foot pedal, sometimes called a page turner, which enables me to keep my hands beading at all times. The foot pedal is not a requirement but it does make beading even faster! It’s also easy enough to tap the next button when you’re ready for the next bead color to be announced, if you don’t have the foot pedal.
BeadFast Peyote Triangle Maker was created out of love: my love of beading and my husband’s love for me and efficiency. ;) I showed him my original, pain-staking design process, and he helped me create an easier and faster way.
