Magazines can now be grouped as a series. Issue numbers in file names are detected automatically, so issues of the same magazine appear as one series on your bookshelf. Supported formats include: - MAG July 2026 / Jul. 2026 - MAG Vol.07 / Issue 07 / #07 - MAG 2026-07 / 2026_07 - Japanese issue formats (2026年07月号, 7月号, etc.) Issues are sorted in publication order, so you can read through back numbers smoothly. Note: If a series name changes due to issue detection, stars and read marks for those files may be reset.

Sorting the bookshelf is now even more convenient. ・"Date" has been added as a sort option. The order is based on the date of the newest file within each series, making it easy to quickly find recently added works (↑ oldest / ↓ newest). ・The selected sort option is now retained even after restarting the app. No need to reselect it every time.

You can now see at a glance how many volumes are left until you finish a series. When filename display is turned off, the top-left corner of the reading screen shows "current volume / total volumes" (e.g. 8/10). Even for series you can't put down, you can keep reading while checking how many volumes remain — without heading back to the bookshelf.

Based on your feedback, we've improved the reading screen to make it easier to view. ■ Removed the shadow band at the top of the page Previously, a light gray shadow appeared at the top of the screen while reading; this has now been removed. The top of the page now displays brighter and cleaner. ■ You can now adjust the opacity of the book title display The opacity of the background behind the book title shown in the top-left during reading (or the "Back" button when filename display is off) can now be adjusted to your preference. Adjustable via a slider from the menu "View" → "Title Opacity While Reading...". You can adjust it in real time while viewing a preview, and the setting is retained even after restarting the app.

Bug Fixes Fixed resolution of reading progress from other devices (green bookmark) to use a library-relative path. (On Macs with a different username, progress from other devices would display but the book couldn't be opened)

Ver1.0.69 Added "Display Fine-Tuning" to the fit-to-height display mode On screens like MacBooks, when scanned images have margins on the top/bottom or sides, manga tends to display smaller. This feature lets you trim those margins as much as possible so the page displays as large and readable as possible. When fit-to-height display (fitting the page to the screen's height) is ON, the Display Fine-Tuning menu appears. There, you can fine-tune the display scale and vertical position to your liking. Adjustable from the "View" menu → "Display Fine-Tuning…" using sliders in a dedicated window. Scale ranges from 1.0 to 1.5, and vertical position can also be finely adjusted. Tailor it to how margins appear or the part you want to highlight. Configured values are saved and carried over even when toggling fit-to-height display on/off. This feature was implemented based on user feedback.

You can now toggle the filename display shown during viewing from the "View" menu ON/OFF (turning it OFF restores the previous filename display)

Added a setting to speed up PDF viewing (Pro version) By enabling "File ▸ Speed Up PDF Viewing" in the menu bar, PDFs you have already opened will load faster the next time. This setting can only be enabled in the Pro version. ・How it works: After a PDF is opened for the first time, its page images are automatically saved as a compressed file (ZIP) in the same location as the PDF. The next time it is opened, this compressed file is used instead, resulting in faster loading. ・Reading position, read status, and bookmarks are all carried over as-is. ・It is recommended to keep the original PDF file. ・Since image files are created in the same location as the PDF, additional disk space will be used accordingly. ※ In the Free version, PDF viewing and thumbnail display on the bookshelf remain available as before. Only the ability to enable the speed-up setting is exclusive to the Pro version. ※ This setting is off by default. Enable it only when needed.

・PDF support added (provisional) 　PDF files can now be added to the bookshelf and read just like compressed archive files. 　※ PDFs with many pages may take longer to display. In that case, we recommend using image-format compressed files instead. 　（The free app "DropToJPG" (by the same developer) can convert and compress PDFs with a single click — highly recommended.） ・Improved display for single-volume works 　Single-volume works on the bookshelf (which can be opened directly) now show reading progress (e.g. 12/250).

You can now manually switch between single-page and spread (two-page) view, regardless of the window size. ・1 key → Single-page view ・2 key → Spread (two-page) view You can also switch from Menu → View.

① Added margin color setting You can now change the color of the margins (near-white gray) shown around images to your preference. ※ Configure this from Menu → View → Margin Color ② Added "Vertical Fit" mode You can turn "Vertical Fit" ON/OFF from Menu → View → Vertical Fit. When ON, images are displayed with no margin vertically, and when you narrow the window width, the left and right sides of the image are cropped instead of being shrunk with margins. This is useful when the original scanned image contains extra margins, allowing manga to fill the screen more fully.

Added Rating List feature. Displays all series you've rated with stars in a single list. Ratings can be updated directly from the list. Series no longer in your library are also shown, making it a handy reference when checking for new volumes or tracking down books you've enjoyed before. Open from the menu "View" → "Rating List" (⌘R).

■ Improved usability for mouse users You can now delete and rename items in the Bookshelf (Library) and Bookmark list via the right-click menu. Items that could previously only be deleted by swiping on a trackpad can now be easily deleted with a regular mouse. Zooming in and out while reading is now also supported via mouse and keyboard. (For details, please refer to the Operation Guide.) ■ Improved bookmark deletion In the bookmark list for books with multiple saved pages, you can now delete individual entries within a group separately. (Previously, attempting to delete one bookmark would erase all bookmarks for the same book.) ■ Switch libraries directly from the Bookshelf Previously, switching libraries required returning to the main screen, but you can now switch easily from the Bookshelf. 【You can now share your reading page across multiple Macs】 You can now instantly pick up where you left off reading manga on another Mac. ● How to use it For example, if you read up to page 42 on your desktop Mac at home, then open the same book on your MacBook while out, the bookmark will show "Home Mac ･ Page 42". Just click it to resume reading right from that page. ● Requirements This feature works automatically when you register a network drive such as iCloud Drive as a library in Momonga and share the same folder across multiple Macs. No special setup is needed. ● How it works A small file recording which Mac you were reading on and how far you got is created automatically inside the library folder. If another Mac shares the same folder, each device's reading progress will appear as a bookmark.

【New Feature】 ・Now supports direct viewing of image folders. Simply drag and drop an image folder onto the main screen to immediately start reading the images in that folder as a single book. In addition to compressed files（ZIP・RAR・CBZ・CBR）, images stored directly in folders can now be viewed as well.
