WHAT YOU SEE
Live crowd levels for 121 places across the city, from Gangnam Station to Seongsu Cafe Street, sourced directly from Seoul Metropolitan Government's real-time city data. Updated every few minutes.
A 12-hour forecast for each area. Seongsu peaks at 3pm and eases by 8 — so go now, or go later. This is the part that actually changes your afternoon.
Live cafe and bakery activity, based on real card transactions in each district, compared against that same district's own average for this hour on this day of the week. Not an estimate. Actual spending, about fifteen minutes old.
Cafes near you on the map, with the ability to report what you see — quiet, moderate or crowded — for everyone arriving after you.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
We don't show a busyness percentage for individual cafes, because nobody publishes that data and we won't invent it. A cafe is marked only when a real person has reported it, and that report fades after 90 minutes. If nothing has been reported, the app says so.
Crowd levels are relative. Seoul rates each place against its own 28-day average, so "quiet" at Gangnam Station still means tens of thousands of people — it means quiet for Gangnam. We word it that way rather than pretending the number is absolute.
When you are outside our coverage, we tell you, instead of showing you data from somewhere else.

Seoul Metropolitan Government real-time city data (population, congestion, 12-hour forecast, commercial activity). Kakao Local for cafe locations. Community reports from people using the app.

This version removes a feature, on purpose.
The per-cafe busyness percentage was never based on real data. It was calculated from the cafe's ID number and the time of day. It has been removed entirely.
In its place:
- Live cafe and bakery spending for each district, from real card transactions, compared against that area's own weekly norm
- A 12-hour forecast — see when an area peaks and when it eases off
- Coverage expanded from 51 to all 121 places Seoul publishes data for, including Seochon, Haebangchon, Hapjeong, Cheongdam and Songridan-gil
- Crowd levels now worded as relative, because that is what Seoul's levels actually mean
- Cafes show a colour only when a real person has reported them, fading after 90 minutes
- Fixed: user reports were being saved but never displayed to anyone
- Fixed: seven areas showed an error screen instead of data
- Korean and Chinese place names now display correctly
A smaller, honest app beats a larger, invented one.
